Marinette's POV

I woke up around the time schools ended. I woke up because of the sound of my phone ringing, it was Alya.

"Marinette" I yawned.

"Hey gurl, how's life at home?" She said.

"What is it Alya I want to sleep"

"At this time!?" She shouted. "Gurl you've been in bed since school started, I bet you haven't even eaten lunch yet"

"Yes I have"

"Really?"

"No"

"Though so"

"Why are you calling anyway Alya?"

"Ohhh, right, forgot sorry, Adrien's coming over"

"What!?You're joking"

"No, saw him running that way when school ended and asked where you were this morning" she paused. "Also I told him you were sick, bye~" then she hunged up after saying that.

"Wait!? What? Alya!" I just sighed and tried to get back to sleep when I heard a creack.

Thinking it was Adrien because of Alya's call I asked "Adrien?" But he didn't respond for a whole minute so I turned around.

It was Chat. "oh! Hey Chat" so that's why.... No it's not he should have spoken up that it wasn't him. "Sorry Chat, thought you were Adrien, Alya called. Said he went this way" I was expecting him to respond but he didn't so I walked to him "Chat you ok?" and then I placed my hand on his forehead checking is he had a cold but he didn't. I sigh in relief, I still haven't pulled my hand away. I counted how long it will take for him to move or something, it's been five seconds when this started. 6... 7... 8... 9... 10.... Still nothing... Then when a minute was up he jumped back shocked.

"Hello purrincess" He bowed.

"Late much Chat" I joked. "You've been here for two minutes and said nothing"

"Were you worried for this feline, purrincess?"

"I wasn't Chat.... So why are you here?" I asked.

"A birdie told me you were sick" he said.

"Well, I wasn't and btw unless you know someone named Alya and Adrien you wouldn't think that"

"Oh! Ummm... A-Adrien was going to visit but he-he... Suddenly got a photo shoot to go to... so he asked me to go here while I was out patrolling.... Hahaha" he laughed nervously and scratched the back of his neck as if he was hiding something. Hmmm. I will find out what that is Chat.... But for now I will let it go. I am disappointed that Adrien didn't come though but I was a bit happy that Chat came though... Why?

"I find that hard to believe Chat BUT since you came here cuz you were worried I'll let it go"

Adrien's POV

After Marinette said my name... well Adrien's name. I froze on the spot. I didn't know what to do because I'm Chat Noir right now and she just said my name. Maybe she knows. Maybe she'll tell the world that I'm Chat Noir.... No! Marinette wouldn't do that. The I felt a warm sensation on my forehead. I snapped back to reality. I see Marinette's hand touching my forehead and her face was so close. I jumped back, shocked but I regain my composure and said "Hello purrincess" and bowed.

"Late much Chat?" she says. "You've been here for two minutes and said nothing" I see... was she worried for me? Maybe.

"Were you worried for this feline purrincess?"

"I wasn't Chat" I frown. "So why are you here?" she asks

"A birdie told me you were sick"

"Well I wasn't" I sigh in relief. "and btw unless you know someone named Alya and Adrien you wouldn't think that" she pointed out. Oh cat! what should I do? I know she doesn't know I'm Adrien but this can blow my cover. Think Adrien think!

"Oh..... ummmm" what should I say!? "A-Adrien was going to visit but he-he..." he what I don't know maybe a photo shoot? Yes! a photo shoot "suddenly got a photo shoot to go to" not enough Marinette still looks sceptical about this... Oh! I know I'll say I was on patrol "so he asked me to go here while I was out patrolling.... hahaha" Smooth real smooth Adrien.

"I find that hard to believe Chat BUT since you came here cuz you were worried I'll let it go" I sigh. Yes! She bought it... well barely... then I notice that Marinette looks a bit disappointed. Maybe she wanted that Adrien came here instead of me... She did say my name... Adrien's name earlier. My heart sank... but why?

"Purrincess... about last night I-"

"Don't worry about it Chat. We were just emotional, love does that to you" she says. I nod yes in response. "I think you should go Chat... To patrol" but I want to stay longer to make sure she's okay.

"Yes but-" She cut off.

"Bye Chat" she says then pushed me out of her balcony door and locking it this time.

"Bye Purrincess" I mumbled and actually went out to patrol.
