Marinette's POV

So Adrien told us we can come with him to London for a week. I am soo excited. I've never been outside the country before so this is kinda new to me. This also means that there's no Ladybug for a week. I wonder if Tikki will agree to this. But what worries me more is that if she and my parents did agree how am I going to take her abroad. I can't just shove her in a bag and pretend that nothings there. People can see and hear her so how am I going to do this? Well I could just take off my Miraculous but there's too many at risk doing that. I am swamp. I'll just go call mom or dad.

[Time skip: after calling]

So yeah, I called, got permission, all I have to do now is pack my clothes and necessities. Discuss this with Tikki and Chat then we're all set. Can't wait to leave tomorrow... night? morning? afternoon? You know what! I'll just wait for that text. And besides school is about to start and we're running close to the bell. I mean it could ring again any second. So hopefully there's no Chloe to ruin this day for me because it has been good so far. I haven't shuttered in front of Adrien. I haven't tripped on thin air. I haven't broken anything. Alya isn't interrogating me about Chat since she found out. YAY! And finally there's no "akuma" attack. People really need to think of a different name for this. We can't just keep calling it an akuma attack when there's no akuma. You know what I mean.

But this also got me wondering, if it's time for us to retire... by "us" I mean Chat and I, Ladybug. I mean the people of Paris don't need us anymore. Sure there are attacks but there are more people with powers fighting crime in the streets. And they can easily "purify" them by breaking their accessories. But of course not all of them goes down without a fight. And if Chat and I do this we can finally live a normal life and we can just transform occasionally if the situation is in dire need for us so there's no problem. Of course if I do this I will need to reveal myself to Chat so we can keep in touch if our hero alter ego isn't needed for a long, long time.

I also said to Alya that I'd give up on Adrien... I think it's high time that I do. I can't keep chasing after a boy who won't return my feelings forever. Maybe I should give a certain kitty a chance. I am planning of revealing myself to him. Even if Tikki objects, I can't keep this a secret forever, he'll find out sooner or later, at least I want him to hear it from me. I want him to be the first to know who I am. Not some random person who will sell it to the media.

[Time skip: after school at Marinette's room]

So school ended. Everything went smoothly. I tripped a few times no big deal... Adrien did help me get up from some of them and no before you ask I didn't blush madly anymore... I wonder why... was he that easy to get over? Anyway, I packed my clothes that will hopefully last the whole trip. I talked to Tikki, she said I could go, even though valentines is around the corner. She said I could use the rest. I got the text from Adrien saying our flight is at six in the morning and that he will come here around 5 to pick me up.

Right now, I'm in the middle of transforming into Ladybug, need to tell Chat I'll be gone for a week, don't want him to worry when I'm not there for an attack. And the sun is still up by the way, so Chat won't come here for a few more hours.

I made my way to the Eiffel Tower. Somehow Chat and I made this spot our meet up point, so if we need something from the other we just wait here and let the media carry the news to the other. We wouldn't want the other to risk our identity by revealing our number to each other.

Well, I got there just fine no traffic what-so-ever. No kidding! That's what happens when you travel through the roofs. I spotted a black silhouette on one of the beams. Must be Chat. This must be important then if he's here and in full view, not hiding in the shadows like the other times when he's on patrol. Then again, I am making my way there for something important too. Anyway I got myself up there snuck up behind him and gave him a small scare.
