About a while ago L found out about the death note and the light that you once knew had completely changed. He had become more distant from you ever since.

Your P.O.V
today I woke up at HQ. Ryuzaki was eating a cake and examining the death note. I on the other hand was getting to know rem. She did scare me at first but she's a really nice girl. Although I feel bad, for some reason light has changed since he touched the death note and I feel like if we're not friends anymore. It hurts but I just have to live with it.
Ryuzaki left the room and light followed him. I left soon after to find L rubbing light's feet and light cleaning L's face. *are they....boyfriends?* I thought to myself. I mean I respect them its misa. So that means that light was "dating" misa to use her? But use her for what?....I had a feeling that something was off. I went to talk to rem to see what she would say about this. I sat down next to her.
"Hi rem what are you doing?"
She was writing something in a black note book.
"Is that the death note?" I asked curious
"Yes" she answered. I look over her shoulder and she had written "lawli"
"Who's lawli?"
Rem stopped and looked at me for a second "its ryuzaki's real name"
"WHAT!!! WHY KILL HIM?!!!"
Rem sighs " because if not he'll find out that light his kira and kill him. If light dies misa will suffer."
I looked at her straight in the eye " light IS the reason why she suffers. His using her like a toy how come you accept that?! If you really like misa...then kill light instead because he's the problem not Ryuzaki that's just doing his job!"
Rem looked at me hesitantly
"Rem please kill light...for misa"
I saw her write something on her death note. Soon after I heard misa scream and rem despaired.

~time skip of a week~
Today was lights funeral. All of his family, friends and even the task force were there. Ryuzaki or should I say lawliet also came along. I felt bad for all of them. Its because of me that light died but the kira cases had stopped and lawliet concluded to everyone that light was kira and that he got his name written on a death note. Of course it would be logic for misa to be second kira but lawliet doesn't have enough evidence against her and now I think suspects me of killing light cause I was the only one that wasn't there when light died. But for some reason he doesn't go deep in that theory. I wonder why though....
