Capture The Flag Turns Into Something Worse

It was capture the flag time. Yes it was. Me and Leo were leading it for our team. We had The Hephaestus cabin, Apollo cabin and the Demeter cabin on our side. The other side had both the war goddess and god cabins, Athena and Ares, Clarisse and Annabeth were leading it. Me and Leo went to offence as we went into position, the Apollo archers were in defence with their bows and the Demeter cabin and the rest of the Hephaestus cabin put on tricks and traps all around the woods. Just as Chiron started the game, Clarisse came right up with her spear shouting and insulting our team. The Apollo cabin started firing their bows madly and one hit Clarisse's helmet and she cursed getting even madder. Me and Leo knew a few arrows never stopped Clarisse even though the Apollo cabin are pretty good this time because of their new cabin councillor Summer West who is an excellent archer, she trained the whole cabin intensely so now they are a stronger defence. As me and Leo ran to get the other teams flag, I bumped into Piper who was about to attack our side and we went colliding into the tree, the Demeter cabin counsellor, Autumn Wood who was sneakily setting traps helped us up and ran off.

By the time capture the flag was about to end, our team was pretty much winning, I would say thanks to the Apollo's archers, I mean wow they improved a lot. They actually managed to slow down Clarisse this time who was cursing in ancient greek right now and throwing insults at the archers, she never really liked the archers, she always thinks her spear is the best (every one secretly calls her spear lamer). Also the Demeter cabin put pretty good traps which stopped Annabeth who was a great strategist from the Athena cabin. Annabeth got stuck in Katie's leaf trap which was set on a special spot that we knew Annabeth loves to use as an attack spot. Well to be honest, their team was also pretty good with their traps, the Dionysus cabin got Leo with their vine traps.

We were about to end when Piper bumped into Rachel who was sitting on a rock watching the games, oh Piper kept bumping into people today. At that moment Rachel's eyes turned green and wild. She stared sprouting out a prophecy. "4 shall go west, to the land that is wet. The dove and the Lyre shall answer the call, The water, the flower will with complete it all. others shall meet , and come to greet.on a time that is the perfect week. All the campers started gathering around Rachel. Then Drew stepped forward. "It said the dove! Its got to be me this time!" "I doubt it." Said Jason. "It says Dove which is the sign of aphrodite, then Lyre which is apollo, then flower and water which must be poseidon and demeter." I suggested. "I think I agree with that." Summer stepped up with her bow and quiver. "Me too." Piper agreed. "And I think I would be happy to volunteer." Autumn added. Piper and Summer nodded then the whole camp turned their gaze towards me. "Whoa whoa" I said. "How can you be sure its me?" "Because your the only one in the Poseidon cabin? " Clarisse stated. "Alright then." I muttered. Though Annabeth looked a bit upset, the prophecy didn't mention athena. Normally she always goes on a quest with me. Though I suppose sometimes it just doesn't work like that. "I think I agree with this." Said Chiron. "I think Summer, Piper, Autumn and Percy shall go" "And you know what this is about?" Asked Frank. Chiron didn't answer but his expression told us he knew something. "The prophecy didn't give much of a clue." Added Rachel who just recovered from her oracle mode.

That night Summer knocked on my door and came inside my room followed by Piper and Autumn. Jason also came along with Piper. "So, what do you think this is about?" Asked Autumn. Just as they took a seat on the beds my water fountain rippled, an Iris message from Poseidon. "Dad! Tyson! I called out. "Hello Brother." Said Tyson. "Hello Percy." Greeted Poseidon. "I think I might know what this quest is about though I cannot tell you much." Piper scooted in a bit more to see what was going on. "I see you have some friends there." Poseidon said. "There has been a little problem down here under the sea. A special sea monster who has been a great guard to our kingdom is being hunted by a god who has turned. Who ever captures this sea monster will have half the power over olympus. Unfortunately that is all I can tell you, and I must go. Tyson has work to do. Goodbye Percy and friends." "Bye father and Tyson." I said as their picture dissolved into the fountain. Everyone sat their in silence staring at the fountain.
