Like old times

"Hi Heidi!" I said as the door opened and I saw her smiling face. "hi Ashley, it's been too long since I saw your face around here I've missed you" she replied, brim me in closer to hug her. "I know I've been really busy with school, and cheer, and skating. I haven't had much free time." I told her with a grin. "Your so busy! that's what you get for being talented." Heidi told me. "You're making me blush! I'm not that talented really, but I'm definitely going to have to make time to come here more often!" I told her with red cheeks. "Good! Levi is out in the backyard kicking around that old soccer ball of his, go on out there and join him I won't keep you." Heidi said gesturing to the yard. "thanks, I really did miss you Heidi." I told her.
I start walking down the hall to their living room. Everything was the same but different. The furniture was the same but the pictures had been replaced as Levi had gotten older, the young kid school made decorations were gone replaced by fancier items. I went to the sliding glass door and saw Levi running around dribbling his soccer ball. He looks so cute, his hair is flopped forward on face, he looks so focused. Levi takes soccer so seriously, I love how dedicated he is. I take a deep breathe and open the sliding glass door and walk out on the porch. "
Hey stranger" I call to Levi. He stops and looks up a huge smile on his face. That smile makes me feel amazing. I've missed seeing that smile everyday. "hey! took you long enough to get here, your the slowest driver I know, you drove like your 80." he replied. "I do not drive like I'm 80! I drive like someone who doesn't want to get in an accident!" I told him defensively. Maybe I was a slow driver but it was because I was super responsible. "ahuh sure you're just a chicken! You're too scared to drive above the speed limit" Levi taunted me. "well the speed limit is there for a reason duh it's the limit if how speedy your supposed to be, I'm bring reasonable. anyways wanna play a game of scrimmage?" I asked him pointing towards the ball. "sure just know that I'm going to beat you like last time!" Levi said dribbling the ball to the center of the yard. "that's not fair last time we played we were 7 and you were taller than me so you would just run me over. This time there is no way you could win!" I told him. " Sounds like a challenge to me! Bring it Ashleys!" he taunted me. "oh your on and your going down to the ground!" I replied smugly. I ran towards the ball and pretended I was going to kick with my right foot but I kicked it with my left. I sprinted pumping my arms to get to the ball. I got there before him and dribbled up and kicked. It flew straight to the center of his makeshift goal. "SCORE!!!, Who's awesome I'm awesome who's a loser....it's you! your the loser Levi" I screamed I was so exited. "the games not over yet you are only up by one your not gunna win this game." he replied calmly and cute grin on his face. We went back to the center and continued the game.
An hour later we decided to be done with the game. We walked over to his porch and sat down. "Wow! you did really good Ashley, definitely improved since you were 7." He told me. "Ya when I'm not being pushed down every two second I can actually play a pretty good game." I told him sticking my tongue out at him. "Ya I guess I shouldn't have been so mean to you." he said looking like he was thinking of old memories. "It'a fine we both did stupid things when we were little, I'm thirsty I'm gunna go grab soothing to drink, do you want anything?" I asked him. "will you bring me out a bottled water? I tired from all that running!" He asked. "Ya sure I will bring you one out." I told him.
I got up and opened the glass door. I walked through the living room and stopped when I heard my name from a Heidi's voice in the kitchen.
"I love Ashley so much, she's so much nicer than Taylor, don't you think her and Levi should date? they would be so cute together!" Heidi said. "I don't think we should force anything on them sweetie if they want to be just friends then let do that." I heard Craig, Levi's dad say. "Ya I just love the idea of them being together, it's just do adorable." Heidi replied.
I walked into the kitchen and saw Heidi's face turn red. "Hey Ashley, coming in for drinks? You look tired." Heidi asked me "ya I'm just grabbing a water for me and Levi" I told her. "oh good! it's good to stay hydrated." she told me. "ya it is" I replied. "So Ashley are you going to stay for dinner tonight?" she asked me. "I really wish I could but I have a ton of homework I have to do, some other time though." I told her. I walked to the fridge and grabbed two waters. "sure sweetie that sounds good" she told me. I walked back outside and sat down next to Levi. I handed him his water. "I had a lot of fun, promise you'll come over more often." He said. "I promise, I had a lot of fun today too, I've missed this." I told him. I looked at his face and lost my train of thought. His hair was messed up from all the running and his tan skin was flushed from working hard. "so are you staying for dinner tonight I'm sure my mom would be ok with it." he told me. "ya she asked if I was staying for dinner but I actually have a lot of homework to do so I should probably go so I can finish it. Ill see you tomorrow though." I told him. I felt sad, I didn't want to leave we were having so much fun together. "I'll walk you to the door." he told me.
we both got up and walked to the front door. He gave me a hug and it felt amazing. he was so strong and smelled like heaven. It was a perfect hug and I wanted to stop time am stay here forever. I pulled away so I wouldn't seem creepy. I walked out the door and waved bye. I got in my car and started it and drove home thinking of how amazing this evening was and how much I liked Levi.
When I got home I ran inside and put four sliced of pizza on a plate. Pizza was my favorite food ever. I sent a text to my Mom saying I was home and I got food. I told her I had a ton of homework and would be in my room and jut onto sleep when I was done. I walked upstairs with my food and went opened the door to my room. I sat down at my desk and started in my homework.
Three torturous hours later I was done with my homework. I grabbed a comfy pair of shorts and a t-shirt and went to the bathroom to get changed an brush my teeth. I walked back to my room jumped on my bed an grabbed my phone. I had 20 messages! One was from Levi! I opened that one first. It said today was awesome I look forward to doing it again sometime! I sent him a quick reply saying I couldn't wait I hang out again. the rest of my messages were from Stormie. She was freaking out because I wasn't answering. I sent her a message saying I was busy and that I was hanging out with Levi and I would tell her everything tomorrow because there was too much to say. I put my phone down and went to sleep thinking of Levi,
