x~War of the Otaku: Information about the War~x

War of the Otaku, also known as オタクの戦争 or Otaku no Senso, is a game/contest organized by Brilliant Company for otaku(s). Participants will be transported to the interdimensional virtual world, ('inter' which means 'between' and the word dimension) a world created by joining two dimension. As said, participants will be transported by using the Massive Virtual Teleportation Scheme or generally called as, VTS or Virtual Transportation System.

Active Dimension Battle or ADB is the battle system used in this game. Enemies are fully visible on the field before they are engaged in battle so the player has a choice of if they want to fight them or not. The battle takes place without engaging any force field between the players and enemies. The systerm also includes the ability for the player to still have full control of their movements while currently engaged in battle. The distance between the players and enemies also influences battles as various spells and abilities now have an Area of Effect (AoE). The addition of AoE simply means that players and enemies need to be within a certain range of each other for their spells and abilities to hit. 

After defeating an enemy, the participant will receive items, EXP or Experience Points, Skill Points and RP or Rank Points equivalent to the level, genus and the classification of the enemy.
