Hi I'm Savannah and I guess you could say this is my love story. I'm in middle school, and someone who is sharing this journey with me, is my best friend. His name is Jacob, yea I might have an idea of what you're thinking, but we're just friends. But there's a side to me that can't help but like him. But I don't want to tell him or else it might ruin our friendship. But enough about me lets get to the story.
"Hurry up slow poke" shouted Jacob
As I rush to put on my shoes I hear my best friend calling me. I open my window to shout back to him.
"Don't rush me! You know beauty takes time!"
He laughed. Oh my gosh I love his laugh. Today is a day where we get to where what ever we want and my friends and I decided that we was gonna where all black because we wanted to represent our group. I said bye to my mom and dad and then said bye to my sister. When I walked out of my house I was totally star struck. I hope I didn't make it obvious but, I looked at that boy like my life depended on it. I thought to myself how can 14 year olds look so hot!
"Finally, what took you so long" Jacob said
"Jay, how many times have I told you. You got to understand that perfection takes time", I said
"But nobody's perfect", saying with a smirk
"I hate you" I said with a serious face
Then we both laughed.
"Nah you love me"
I had to look away because I started blushing.
"Whatever" I said with a smile
We started walking to school.
"So Savannah I got to tell you something", said Jacob
Before I responded I got concerned, he usually calls me savy.
"What's up" I said with a worried voice
He took a deep breath in.
"I'm moving", he said
I stopped walking I didn't know how to react. I knew he wasn't joking either he looked dead serious.
"Are you kidding me right now" I said. I really couldn't believe what he was saying.
"I wish I wasn't" he said " my dad got a promotion so me and my mom have to move too."
I almost cried, hearing that my best friend and my crush was moving. Will I ever see him again. I didn't speak the rest of the walk, I just didn't want to hear anything else about him moving. I could see that he was sad too. Sad that he was leaving and sad to see me sad.
