When everyone woke up we got dressed and went outside. Since I live across the street from Jacob me and the girls walked over to his house. The loading truck was here and Jacob and his parents started putting things in the truck. The guys were there too and they was helping out. It's a relief that Jacob and his parents get to stay for graduation but unfortunately they have to leave right after.
"Hello Savannah, it's so good to see you again," said Jacob mom
I gave her a hug.
"It's good to see you again too Mrs. Black ," I said
Jacob parents were like second parents to me. They're my mom and dad's best friends. Every time my family had a reunion they would come because they're considered our family.
"How are you," said Mrs. Black
"To be honest, I'm not doing so well. I wish you guys didn't have to go," I said
"Hey it's ok, don't worry before we leave you'll have some time with us," Mrs. Black said
"Yea," I said
"So, Jacob and Grayson are in the kitchen eating some snacks, why don't you go say hi to them," said Mrs. Black
"Ok," I said
I walked into the house to find Jay. I looked in the kitchen and couldn't find him. The next thing I know is two hands covering my eyes.
"Guess who,"
"Hmmm let me think. Are you a girl," I asked
"No,"
"Are you a boy," I asked
"What kind of a question is that of course I'm a boy,"
"Ok jeez. Are you my friend," I asked
"Yes, no dip Sherlock,"
"THEN IF YOU WERE MY FRIEND YOU WOULD KNOW THAT I HAVE LOTS OF DUMB MOMENTS you know what I give up,"
I took off their hands to see Jay.
"Oh hey Jay," I said
We both laughed at my stupidity. These are the kind of moments that I'm going to cherish. We sat down and ate some fruit roll ups and chips and was basically laughing more than talking. He's super easy to talk to. I just hope we still have this connection when he's in Florida.
The next day:
Today is Sunday so that means that this is our last full day to hang out. But before we do we gotta go to church. Don't you just love it when your crush goes to church😍. After the service he took me behind the church to this gazebo. He said he had to tell me something.
Jacob POV
I can't believe I'm about to do this I'm excited yet nervous for how she's gonna react. I hope she won't be upset or mad, I wouldn't blame her if she was, what I'm doing is way overdue. Better late than never.
Back to Savannah POV
We sat down in the gazebo. He seemed really nervous, I hope he's okay.
"So Savy," he said
"Yea," I said
"I've been meaning to tell something for a while now but I didn't have the guts to do it," he said
"What is it," I said "Oh my gosh are you an alien,"
"What, no," he said with a laugh
"Savannah I-,"he said but he was cut off by someone.
"Savannah hurry up we gotta get to work on time!," said Gisele
"I'm coming!," I said
"Quick, what was you gonna say Jay,"
"Uh, it's ok it can wait, plus you're in a hurry." He said
"Are you sure?," I asked
"Yea," he said
"Ok, well I'll see you at graduation day I guess," I said
Before I left I gave him a hug, I felt bad because it looked like he really had something important to say.
