Chapter 44 - Planning a.. War?

"We are going to have a war with Black Beast!" Nate commanded angrily while standing up, Monique sighed and patted Nate's hand calmly and stand up.

"Call the reinforcement. Call Eric Stevens." Nate said while Easton nodded in agreement.

Who's Eric Stevens?

"Eric Stevens is the Pack Head Police." Nate answered my question.

Oh..

"Easton, I think you should call hi-"

"Done." He stated while wrapping an arm around my waist, "He's on his way.."

I nodded and waited for the 'Eric Stevens'

Months later, everyone didn't attend college for a while. Right now, I'm in the living room with Easton at my side and Chloe and Vince at the kitchen.

"Rencontrez-moi dans mon bureau, maintenant."

(Meet me in my office, NOW.)

Nate commanded in our pack link. Me and Chloe look at each other before nodding, Vince stand up and run towards the office.

Isn't he a gentlemen? - NOTE THE SARCASM.

I was about to stand up when Easton look at me curiously. 

"I have to go, Nate wants a meeting."

He pouted before kissing my cheeks and whispered a "Come back as soon as possible.."

I smirk while rolling my eyes and stand up.

"I would'nt dream on it." I stated while turning around and run to the Alpha's office.

"You called us Alpha?"

Carter ask while taking a seat.

Nate nodded and said,

"I believe Black Beast is expecting this fight.." He muttered silently before standing up and walk to his shelves.

"If he's expecting this.. He should have assigned one of his beast to ruin it.. Right?" Chloe ask curiously.

Nate nodded and grab something.

"Yes.. And I know that he have a plan."

Raising an eye brow, I ask "What plan?"

He walk back to his desk and open the book.

"He wants to get our powers.."

Everyone's eyes widened. Vince snorted while Carter laugh. But worried is thick at everyone's eyes.. Even for those two idiots.

"He wouldn't dare." Carter said arrogantly.

"He'll die in a second." Vince added while wrapping an arm around Chloe.

"But he won't." Nate said in a stern voice.

"So we're canceling the war?" Monique ask curiously.

"No." Nate twist the book to let us look at it.

I saw different necklaces with Red, Yellow, Green, Blue, White or Silver and Violet gems.

"What..?" Chloe ask while looking at Nate.

"We are going to keep our powers in those necklaces. Those necklaces are power keepers. It's possible to be pass on. Million years ago, there was a Prophecy that said a 'Feu de La oudre' pack will have a chance to win a war over a powerful beast. And I guess it is Black Beast. But WE are not THAT Feu de La foudre generation to win. I mean, it's possible but we can't beat him. Maybe imprison him but he won't stop.."

"So how can we do that?" Vincent ask while nodding at the book.

"We call that necklaces as "Gardiens du Pouvoir" or Power Keepers." Nate said while pulling something from his desk.

"This are Gardiens du Pouvoir." He said while putting 6 plain silver gems with strong straps on his desk.

"Put it around your necks and concentrate passing your power energy in it." We nodded. 

I grab a necklace and put it around my neck. Focusing on my energy. I started feeling weak, but not that weak, but like a normal wolf. Seconds later, I smiled when I saw the gem looks like it's a ruby.

"Don't worry guys, you still have your powers, but half of it will be here." Nate said dismissingly.

I nodded and turn around. I got out side the office.

"That's a nice necklace." Easton said while taking my hand and we walk to our bed room.

"Thanks.." I muttered, closing the door, I told him everything.

"I love you.." He muttered before kissing me.

"Love you more." I said back, while grinning.

"Your not greedy with powers."

"Duh.." I said sarcastically while hugging him tightly..

Oh life..
