Chapter 3: The New Demon in School

"Now, I'm going to need you-." he stopped short as he met Luna's blue eyes examining her closely. "Who-who are you?" He asked with a bit of a curious attitude. It was then that she had noticed the small glint of blood red in his eyes and fangs, almost. "Me? I-I'm Luna Cummings. Why do you ask?" She answered his peculiar question, which to her surprise he just shook his head and walked off. Odd. "Hey, are you okay?" Karma then asked, noticing Luna's uneasy feeling that was now wearing off on herself. She just nodded and returned to writing down notes that the mysterious new teacher had written down. Soon it was time to leave, but Mr. Angele, had called out to her to wait after class. So she did. "Why did you need to see me?" She asked, he hesitated to answer the question as he did not know the answer himself. "I-I don't really know. Something about you just intrigues me, it kind of throws me off." He stated simply, confused with himself and so was I. 'Why would he call me back without knowing why?' She questioned herself, then looking up to the door noticing Asher, Karma, and Jo sitting by the door waiting for her. "Can I, um, go now?" She asked curiously, snapping the man out of his thoughts. "W-Yeah yeah go, it's fine." He stated still looking down at his hands, she examined his state then left briskly. "What was that about?" They all asked her and she simply shrugged her shoulders.

They all then walked to the lunchroom, smelling the sweet smell of the disgusting cafeteria food, and sat their bags down at their usual table and went to go get their lunch. Karma and Josephine ended up getting one slice of pizza, fries and a water, while Luna, Asher, and Jake got two slices of pizza, two things of fries and a coke. "I don't see how you're not fat yet." Said Karma seeing as if she were to eat as much as Luna did she'd be 'like 4,000 pounds' as she says every time Luna asked why. About five minutes later, Jake had noticed a small boy, with short black hair, an oversized sweatshirt and black skinny jeans on, sitting alone, "Hey L, can I invite him over he looks lonely?" She just nodded and mumbled a muffled 'Go ahead.' Seeing as she was halfway down with her second slice of disgustingly greasy, pepperoni, school pizza. Jake then got up and walked over to the table the boy was sitting at and all of them watched as the younger boys eyes went wide as he saw the shadow inch up closer. They couldn't hear what Jake had said to the boy but about ten or twenty seconds passed Jake and the boy walked over and Jake introduced him to the group, "Guys, this is Jasper, Jasper this is my sister Luna, her boyfriend Asher, our best friend Karma, and our new best friend Josephine, or Jo." He said pointing to each of them and when Jake had said that Asher was Luna's boyfriend they both blushed a dark crimson red and looked at each other laughing quietly. "Sup' Jasper?" Karma said while stuffing a fry in her mouth. "Umm, what?" he asked, with a hint of an Australian accent, suddenly confused. "Like what's up? What's your story?" He sat down softly after hearing Karma's question and began to answer, "Well, I'm fifteen, I've skipped a few grades and, my parents kicked me out when they found out I was gay at thirteen, um, I've been by myself since then, I don't have any friends, or didn't anyways," He said slightly giggling "and I just moved here from Sydney, Australia. Yeah, that's about it I guess." He ended, the whole group was awestruck, and Luna could slightly notice a small shimmer in Jake's eyes as he looked at the boy with a smile. She noticed the same glint in Jasper's eyes as well. Then the bell rang, but the two were still in their own world. "Alright love-birds snap out of it we gotta go!" Luna snapped at them playfully, getting up and throwing her trash away. They quickly looked away from each other, blushing madly. Luna giggled to herself as the two got up, Jasper slowly reaching for Jake's hand. Luna nodded to him as if to say 'Go ahead.'. He smiled shyly as he grabbed Jake's hand, Jake smiling down at the younger boy, both of them blushing a soft pink as they walked. As they arrived at their history class, Jasper hugged Jake and walked to his class, blowing him a kiss before he went inside the room. Luna looked at her older brother seeing the longing gaze in his silver blue eyes following the young boy. She snapped her fingers in front of his face, getting his attention. "So, you and Jasper huh?" She asked him, smiling as she did so. He simply nodded smiling, "He's just so ugh!" He exclaimed as Luna smiled up at him, quickly fangirling over her lovestruck sibling. They both sighed as they walked into the dull room that smelled slightly like dust and rotten milk. Luna shivered at the thought and sat down next to her brother and Josephine.
