Wings of Fredom

Chapter - 2

We were getting closer to wall Rose by the minute. People were running everywhere trying to get on the boat or away from the titans. Emily and I didn't say a word the whole trip. Eren and Mikasa were together a few people away from us while Armin was further away with his grandpa. As I was watching the titans head towards the gate I saw an unusual titan approaching. It was running, but different than an abnormal. The titan looked like it was armored with blondish  hair. It didn't stop when cannons were fired at it. The titan kept running towards the gate till it ran through and broke down a part of the wall with the gate, Emily and I stared in shock. 

~Time Skip~

We arrived inside wall Rose and started getting a little bit of food like bread. Once we got a piece of bread we found a staircase and sat down. There was already a food shortage so we decided to eat slowly to make the bread last. About an hour later we saw Eren and Mikasa come around a corner. Armin saw them and ran over and gave them some bread. We walked over to say Hi, but a guy scoffed at them then walked away. He said something that set off Eren and he ran over to hit and kicked him. I ran over with Emily, Armin and Mikasa to stop Eren. The man he kick punched him and Eren fell down. He started getting closer to Eren, but Armin jumped in front. 

"I apologize! He's just hungry and irritable! That's why he so rudely lashed out at an adult... I'm very sorry!" Armin said trying to protect Eren. 

"Man. It's 'cause of us that you guys aren't starving to death, you know! Even you kids oughta be thankful to us!" He said walking away. 

"Of course!" Armin said calmly. 

"Damn... I refuse to let them take care of me. I'm going back. To wall Maria. I'm going to destroy every last Titan!" Eren said angrily. 

"Eren... You're not being serious, are you?" Armin asked.

"I'm serious! I'm not like those guys who do nothing but act tough inside the walls! I don't need this crap!" Eren yelled throwing the bread at Armin. 

"Eren! You'll starve to death!" Armin stated.

"Doesn't it bother you at all?! It's because of everyone's charity that we can't beat the Titans!" Eren yelled. 

"It's Impossible! There is no beating them! All we can do is live inside the walls! If we try anything, we'll die! Just like my mom and dad!" Armin yelled back at Eren.

"So you're just gonna grovel to them then?! That's not shameful to you?!" Eren yelled at Armin. 

"There's... There's nothing we can do for now!" Armin yelled. 

"That's just an excuse! If you wanna live like livestock forever, go ahead! You wimp!" Eren yelled as Mikasa punched Eren to the ground.

"Mikasa..." Armin said.

"If Armin's a wimp, then so are we. Whether it was running from the Titans or fleeing the town, we didn't manage anything on our own. We even had help finding food today. There's no way such powerless people can defeat even a single one of those Titans. Staying alive is what matters most. Just like your mother said." Mikasa said grabbing the bread from Armin and shoving it in Erens  mouth. 

"Mikasa!" Armin Yelled.

"You have to eat and stay alive. I wont let you starve to death." Mikasa said as Eren started to cry. 

All of us refuges had to do work like working in the fields. The food shortage was still really bad and some people were sent away to try to reclaim wall Maria. The only person I knew that had to go was Armins grandpa. Out of the 250, 000 that left only not even 200 survived. The only thing that came out of their deaths was the food shortage got better.
