I felt warm sunrays hit the corner of my eyes, I open my eyes slowly. I saw Renade's sleeping face, his arms were enveloped around me, and his face was unexpectedly close to mine. His golden brown hair was all over his face. My lips curled upwards and I reached out, trailing my fingertips to remove the hair covering his face.
His eyes squinted, peeking at me. I smiled at him.
"Morning." I said with a hoarse voice, which most people call a morning voice.
He shifts a little then smiled at me. "Hey." He mumbled, removing his arm around my waist. I tried sitting up and looked at him.
"Want coffee?" I asked, standing up and putting my messy hair to a messy bun. He nodded, still lying down on the bed like a lazy little child. I chuckled and went to the small kitchen in the room and fixed up coffee.
I came out later with two cups on my hand and went to the bed, handing him his coffee. He sat up and took the coffee from my hands, our fingertips ever so slightly to brush on each others.
"Thanks." He said with a smile as he took a sip.
There was pure silence in the room, only the sound of birds chirping melliflous tunes can be heard from outside the window. I take sips in my cup every now and then.
"So you're going to the fourth kingdom today?" He managed to break the silence and looked at me with a small smile.
I nodded in response. "Be careful on the way." He said with a gentle voice. I smiled at him to reassure him that I will.
"How about you?" I asked, taking the last sip of my morning coffee.
"I'm going to Chimera and help Dream find the book." He said finally finishing his coffee. I frowned for some reasons.
"Whats with the frown so early in the morning?" He asked.
"I want to stay." I said with eyes so convincing, hoping that it would stop them from getting me out of this paradise.
"I want you to stay too. But we'll lose our purposes once you stay here for any more longer." He told me and I frowned once more, following it up with a nod. He smiled at me with an apologetic look.
"We'll meet someday. Just... Not today." He said, patting my back as he stood up to leave the room and fix himself up. I sighed deeply.
This place was the only thing that got me out of my problems. And leaving this would be tragic for me, but for the sake of them, I'd do it.
After fixing myself up, I left my room. Renade was waiting for me. He's probably gonna join the walk with me to Chimera.
We've crossed Chimera and I saw Dream and Nate outside the castle. I waved at them as they waved back. Dream has I stayed up late written all over her face, while Nate had messy black hair. Probably due to all the ruffling.
"Sorry for the trouble." I bowed as an apology. They shook their heads and continued where they left off. I told them I'd be going to Kingdom Geymnd. Nate offered himself to join me but I 'politely' denied the offer and went on by myself.
An hour has passed and I felt like I was actually close to the Kingdom. Until I was stopped by an unknown being who just blocked my path.
"Where do you think you're going?" The black being asked. His voice reminded me of someone annoying.
"Well, I was on my way to Gemynd until you stopped me." I said sarcastically. My eyes squinting to see who he is.
"Turn back. It's not safe. Something bad's gonna happen."
