Kelli agreed that she’d stop being so jealous, just like I expected her to. I hated being a dick to her, but sometimes she needed someone to put her in her place. I couldn’t believe that she actually admitted that she’d rather have me in her life, the guy she’s known for four months, than Brooke, her best friend that she’s known since fourth grade. That just gave me even more power over Kelli.
I turned around to go back to my group of friends and the first thing I noticed was that Brooke wasn’t there. “Where’d she go?” I asked.
“Of course you’d want to know,” Graham spat.
“What?”
“Graham just sent her home crying,” Mattie said.
“Why?” I yelled at Graham.
“Why don’t you go run after your girl and go get her?” Graham yelled back.
“My girl’s in Florida, Brooke is not my girl! Nothing is going on between me and Brooke and if you guys don’t stop with that stupid idea you’re going to end up ruining everything I have with Kelli!”
“You’re so full of shit! You’re in love with Brooke so what are you still doing with Kelli?? You always fucking bitch about the fact that all girls think you’re a player but here you are, doing what you always do. I’m done trying to fucking help you!” Graham skated off.
“What did Graham yell at Brooke for?” I asked the guys.
“No idea,” Carter said.
“You guys know that there’s nothing going on between me and Brooke, right?”
No one answered.
