I was just about to grab the bottle that had the toxin in it when suddenly I lost control of my arm and it picked up a different vile. Realizing that it must have been that goody good Bakura, with all my might I expelled him and got back control over the hand and was about to switch the medication when I heard someone run up from behind me.

"Bakura wat's taking so long hurry up." I heard Joey's annoying brooklyn accent say to me.

"Ah here it is I gave the bottle in my hand"

"Dammit! That Bakura messing up my plans" I thought to myself as Joey bounded back to my enemies side glancing at me. I couldn't switch it. I trudged back to where they were sitting and gave the medication over to the damn Pharaoh who in turn injected himself with the medicine.

Atem sighed as the medicine eased the pain but he was still so so hot that he ended up asking for some water which Tea quickly gave to him. When the flames were somewhat quenched he went into his soul room and touched Yugi's arm "I will save you Abiou"

"Ya...mi" Yugi called in his sleep and Atem smiled before materializing out in his own body.

"His fever just won't go away. But It seems as it only a physical barrier leak. It hasn't seeped to his soul yet." Atem said to concerned faces. "We'd best get moving" He finished saying and everyone nodded in agreement.

They got in the jeeps and drove again.

Two Days pass and the traveling team was found outside a small village. Kaiba was buying horses while Tea and Tristan were looking for food supplies. The rest stood back and guarded Yugi, who by the way was now awake.

Kaiba soon came back with 4 horses since that was all they had left two were pure white mares. 2 dark chestnut stallions and the last was a pure black stallion. Kaiba inwardly had groaned knowing that he would have to share a horse because the extra would be given to Tea, but he maned it up. Soon Tea and Tristan returned with enough supplies to last them a while. They saddled the horses and evenly distributed the supplies among each horse. They then all got on their horses. Kaiba and Shadi went first on one of the white mares. Next came Marik and Duke sharing the other white mare. On the two Dark chested stallions Tristan and Joey shared one while Tea got one for herself. The last horse was the black stallion and it's riders were Atem and Yugi.

They traveled most of the day through rugged terrain under the guidance of Shadi. As they rode Atem sensed that they were being followed so he rode up next to Shadi. "We're being followed" Atem whispered. Shadi responded "Yes they have been following us for three miles now. However they are few and won't attack until reinforcements come. I sent a message to the spirit world with my mind and informed them that we need back up before their numbers grow."

"Alright then"

They rode on till it was dusk and a

Kaiba called out "We'll rest here for tonight"

Everyone got off their horses and tied them to a nearby tree and then proceed to set up camp"

Atem helped Yugi to sit as he was awake but in pain.

Shadi put up a magical barrier to protect them for the night and summoned a few duel monsters with his powers to guard the barrier.

Once everything was set up they prepared a meal.

"How is Yugi doing?" Bakura asked Yami who sat next to him.

"His pain worsens as the days past with the barrier weakening each day" Atem said solemnly.

Bakura pretended to look worried but in his mind he was pleased by this thinking 'the weaker the barrier the easier it will be to destroy him'

Just then a portal above them opened and descended from it came two angels. The gang stood up as shadi greeted the two recognizing them.

"Welcome my friends. We sure are glad to see you. Everybody this is Lucas and Meredith they are our reinforcements."

Lucas was pale with white hair that stood up and back. His eyes were a piercing color. He had long white wings attached to his lean muscular body. He was what women would call attractive and Meredith was no less beautiful. Her skin was a beautiful silken brown color that was smooth to the touch. She had long black hair that was decorated with golden beads. Her face was slim and narrow along with the rest of her body and her eyes were a deep sunset gold. She also had a pair of pure white wings

"What kind of reinforcement is that? Two pretty people? There only two of em. I thought we was going to get an army!" Joey shot off.

"Ignore the blond. Any reinforcement is better than nothing" Kaiba said.

"Do not worry they both have the power of 1000 angles." Atem spoke. "Thank you for coming it's been sometime Lucas, Meredith.

"Yes it has my lord" Lucas rich voice spoke. Meredith nodded but did not speak.

"Wel come on join us for dinner." Tea smiled up at them.

"Thank you" Lucas replied.

They sat down and Bakura divided out the food as Joey looked at Meredith "So Meredith how are you?" she only nods which confuses Joey. She turned to Lucas and began to sign. And Lucas translated. "I'm fine"

Joey was confused even more "Wait can she not talk?" The two exchanged glances before Lucas says "No" in a slow manner.

"What happened to her?" Tristan cut in.

Lucas sweated "I'm not to sat anything sorry"

"That's ok we understand Tea said pulling the two boys away by their ear.

"OW OW OW" They both cried

Meanwhile Atem was with Yugi holding a spoon to his mouth trying to get him to eat. Yugi opened his mouth and took the soup trying hard to swallow it.

"I know it hurts Yugi but you have to eat it" Atem spoke worried before an idea hit him. "Yugi I know this is going to sound strange but it may be easier for me to feed you like a bird.

Yugi nodded at this point he didn't care how he was feed.

Atem got a mouthful of the food and chewed it up before bring his mouth to Yugi's who opened up his. Atem kissed the food to Yugi. Who was able to swallow it. Atem did it again and Yugi started to turn red embarrassed. They did this until Yugi finished it all.

"Good seems like that worked." Yugi nodded still flushed from the experience and Atem noticed that so he leaned to Yugi's ear "Good job" he whispered before giving him another kiss on his lips smiling causing Yugi to flush. Atem laughed he loved teasing his abiou.

"Alright let's all get some sleep" Duke said standing up "we have a long journey ahead" the others nodded in agreement and one by one they all went into their sleeping bags and fell asleep.
