Chapter One ~ Lazy Daisy ~
Ty's POV
Aspen jumped at me, sending us both flying through the air. I steadied myself as she still hung there. She planted a kiss on my cheek and let a smacking sound ring in the air.
"MWAH~ heyyyyy! I missed you in class today. Thanks for picking me up though. Where were you?"
She slid off of my back.
"My mom picked me to for my therapist's appointment. Sorry if I left you all alone without a single friend." I said jokingly, closing my eyes and using hand gestures to pretend I was crying for her.
She hit me on my shoulder.
"How can you say that?! I betcha I could go a day without talking to you!"
I gave her one of those looks that said 'yeah right' and she noticed.
"Okay, okay. You win," she hugged me again, "I totally couldn't go one minute without you, love."
I smiled at her and we went on our way. We walked out of the school gate and around the corner. It was silent for awhile till Aspen broke the silence.
"Let's go to Lazy Daisy and get some ice cream," she said, suddenly beaming at me with her bright green eyes, "what do ya say? Can we?"
I offered another smile and stopped my steps.
"Sure, iiiif you let me put your hair up."
"Why?"
"Because it's soft and I love to do people's hair. You should know that. Pweewzzzzz~" I asked with a puppy dog face.
"Fine. Make me look hot though."
"Will do."
I went behind her and spread my hand through her hair while I grabbed a ponytail from my wrist. Doing her hair up high, I places in the ponytail and gave her back a little push. She turned to me.
"Thank you, love. Now let's go."
She grabbed my hand and we skipped to Lazy Daisy.

I could feel the immediate breeze when I walked through the double doors of the ice cream parlor. Aspen wasn't too far behind. I pointed to a table and told her I knew what she wanted exactly and that I would buy because she's such an awesome friend. Haha.
There was barely any kids here. Probably because it's October and chilly outside. But that doesn't stop her from shoving ice cream in her face. I scanned the ice cream through that small little window thing and paused when I saw Moose Tracks and Superman.
Looking up, I saw the most exquisite pair of blue eyes gazing at me. He had dark brown hair with some blondish highlights and two little studs on each side of his bottom lip. When he smiled at me, pearly whites shown and he approached from behind the counter.
"Hello there, what would you like today?"
When he spoke to me, I froze. He's so cute.....can I order him instead?
He waved a hand in front of my sight.
"What can I do for you?" He asked, changing his question but the words still came out with smoothness.
"Ah! Yeah....um...," I pointed at the window thing, "can I have a waffle cone of Moose Tracks and another one with....um...Superman, please."
He reached behind him and grabbed a scooper.
