The strange, slightly deep voice continues speaking.

"Turn around and shake my hand."

Frisk turns around and sees a green hooded figure whose face is shaded by their hood. Their glowing red eyes are only visible as they hold out their red-gloved hand. Frisk was a little freaked out by their appearance, but they shook their hand.

A red substance leaks out from both of their hand and Frisk quickly withdrew their hand and stared at the red liquid. A chuckle was heard by the other figure and Frisk look up at them. They see a green-hooded gender-neutral figure snickering. They had light brown hair that looked similar to Frisk's, Red eyes, and pale skin. This person looks painfully familiar to Frisk, as if they had met them in another Timeline. The reflection-like figure starts speaking.

"Ha. Don't worry. It's only ketchup! Anyways, I'm Chara. Chara the human. I know, let that sink in for a moment. I'm human, just like you. Heh, anyways. Hello pretty mirror. You look a lot like me."

The name 'Chara' was so familiar but Frisk just couldn't put their tongue on it. They mentally sighed as they tried to remember but they just couldn't. They nod to Chara so they won't think that they are ignoring them. Chara lazily smiles and says.

"I'm actually suppose to be looking for humans but, it's not really my thing, ya know? My brother on the other hand, Is a human hunting FANATIC."

Chara looks behind me for a second before continuing to speak.

"Hey! I think my bro is coming here right now! I think I know a way you can hide from him. Go through this gate, Reflection."

Frisk does what they are told and assumes Chara's little nickname for them is either 'Reflection' or 'Mirror'. They get to the other side and Chara points to a lamp.

"Quickly, behind that conveniently-shaped frozen lamp."

Frisk dashes to the lamp and hides behind it but pokes out their head so they can listen and watch at what that green-hooded human will do. in a few moments, a white goat runs to Chara. The goat was wearing a dark blue coat, a regular pair of jeans, and a rainbow scarf. He too, looked oddly familiar. Why couldn't Frisk remember these two? Frisk pushed the thoughts out of their mind and listened to the two's conversation. Chara spoke first.

"Sup, bro?"

The goat responds quickly.

"You know what is 'Sup', Sibling! It's been seven days and you still haven't recalibrated your puzzles! You just sit at your station and drink a bottle of chocolate syrup or nap! What are you doing right now anyways?!"

Chara points to the frozen lamp Frisk is hiding behind with a lazy and casual smile while the other hand is shoved in their pocket.

"Looking at this frozen lamp. It's very COOL."

The goat opens his mouth to speak before realizing that Chara made a pun. The goat squeal in anger.

"CHARA!"

Chara snickers lightly before responding.

"Yeah, bro?"

"STOP PLAGUING MY LIFE WITH YOUR STUPID PUNS!!!"

Chara snorts in amusement while Frisk is chuckling silently. Chara's brother starts speaking again.

"I don't have time for this! What if a human comes through here?! I want to be prepared for them! I MUST be the one to capture a human! Then, I, The great god Asriel, Will get all the things I deserve! Respect, Fame... I will be the Absolute Deity! Defender of all Monsters!"

Asriel puffs his chest out and looks very proud with stars glittering around him, Giving the falling snowflakes beautiful rainbow colors which makes them dazzle around him like fireflies. Chara shoves both of their hands in their hoodie pockets and gives a lazy, casual smirk.

"Welp, Maybe this lamp will help you, Rei."

Asriel sighs very, very heavily. His expression just reads 'Why Chara, Why?' Asriel puts his head down and looks up at Chara.

"How many times have I told you not to call me that?"

Chara looks at the ground before looking up.

"About 17 times today. including the other weeks which you told me approximately 18 times and..."

Chara goes on and on with some very, very detailed mathematical expression that results in the number of 564 times throughout their whole life that their brother has told them not to call him 'Rei'. Asriel looks up at Chara, impressed by their mathematical skills.

"You can be a nerd sometimes, you know, Sibling?"

Chara snorts in amusement.

"Yep."

Asriel nods slowly before returning to the subject that they were previously on.

"Anyways, I do not have time to look at that lamp! You are not helping! All you do is drink chocolate syrup and loaf around! You get more and more tired and lazier everyday!"

Now that Frisk actually hears that last sentence from Asriel, They could clearly see that Chara had dark bags under their eyes, They look like they haven't slept in weeks. Frisk wonders why Chara is like that before Chara's voice drags them out of their thoughts.

"Hey calm down. I know I GOAT to stay awake. It's just hard."

Asriel seems pretty annoyed by his sibling's puns.

"CHARAAAA!"

Chara snickers before continuing.

"I guess I WOOL try to get some sleep at night for you."

Asriel smiles slightly.

"UGH!"

Chara snorts and teases.

"You're smiling."

Asriel lets out a deep, deep sigh and looks away.

"I am and absolutely I hate it."

Asriel sighs heavily before standing up proudly and letting his scarf blow around a little in the wind.

"I, The great god Asriel, Shall now attend to my puzzles! As for you,"

Asriel points to Chara, still maintaining a proud expression.

"I suggest you stop making terrible puns that their is SNOW way that they can get worse!"

Asriel laughs at his own pun before running off to attend to some puzzles he has. Chara looks at the lamp that Frisk is behind.

"You can come out now, Rei is gone."

Frisk stops hiding behind the lamp and starts to go in the direction that Asriel went. Frisk suddenly halts when they hear Chara's voice.

"Hey... Erm. Actually... I hate to bother you but... Can you do me a little favor...? Rei has been kinda down lately... And he's never really seen a human besides me... So... Seeing you might just make him happy... He won't hurt you... Okay? Heh... Thanks a bunch. Welp. See ya, Pretty Mirror."

Frisk turns around to wave their goodbye but... Chara wasn't there. They had already left and there was no sign of footprints in the soft, pure white snow. Frisk was a little confused but brushed it off and they continue making their way in the direction Asriel had went.
