Chapter 3: Puzzles.

Frisk continues to walk in the direction that Chara's brother went in. The convenience of that lamp still filled them with Determination as they trudged through the snow, sparing every monster that tried to hurt them. 

Frisk eventually saw Chara and Asriel talking up ahead, but they couldn't catch any of their conversation before they both noticed them. Asriel and Chara took turns looking at Frisk, and eventually started spinning. Once they stop spinning Asriel stares at Frisk before whispering to Chara.

"Oh my Stars... Chara... Is that... A human?!?!?"

Chara gives that lazy smile that they always seem to have before whispering.

"Actually,"

Chara pulls out one of their hands that was shoved in their hoodie pocket and points at the rock that was a couple of feet behind Frisk before lazily smirking and continuing what they were saying.

"I think that's a rock right there..."

Asriel had a blank face and blinked before looking at the rock. He no longer speaks in a whisper.

"Oh."

Chara looks at Asriel before walking right next to him and putting their arm over Asriel's shoulder while pointing to Frisk.

"But what's that in front of the rock?"

Asriel looks at Frisk and almost squeals, Startling Chara a little, making them back a little away from Asriel.

"OH MY STARS!"

Asriel looks at Chara straight in the eye and whispers.

"Is that a human???"

Chara gives that very casual, lazy smile, before whispering back.

"Yep."

Asriel squeals again, Startling Chara so much they actually fall back into the snow, but it was obvious that Asriel was too excited to notice, let alone care.

"OH MY STARS!!! CHARA!!! I FINALLY DID IT!!! I WILL FINALLY GET EVERYTHING I DESERVE!!!..."

Asriel realized that he had got over excited. Chara is way too lazy to get up and just lays there in the snow. Chara actually fell asleep in the snow. Frisk was impressed that the green-hooded human actually had the ability to sleep in the cold, icy snow. Asriel clears his throat and begins to speak.

"Human! I will not let you pass through this area! I, The great god Asriel, Shall stop you! Then I will capture you! Then you will be delivered to the Capital! Then.. I'm actually not sure what happens after that..."

Asriel's expression goes blank for a moment before having a determined look on his face and he holds his fist in front of him.

"Anyways... Continue if you dare!"

Asriel runs off and Chara wakes up from the sound of footsteps and sits up. They yawn before looking up at Frisk.

"That was a good nap... Anyways I think you did great! Don't worry, Pretty Mirror. I'll keep an eye on both of you."

Chara gets up and brushes the snow off of them and they walk in the direction that their brother went in. 

Frisk continued to walk in the direction of the two siblings. They continue sparing the lives of every monster they encounter. Frisk eventually saw the older of the two siblings that was, or what Frisk thought they were doing, taking a break. Frisk decides to interact with the green-hooded human. Chara lazily smiles at Frisk and speaks, barely putting forth any effort to speak with any emotion.
