I woke up to the sound of the first bell of the day which unlocked our rooms I got up and got my white towel and rag and walked to the bathroom I used the toilet before I got in the shower when I was done i brushed my teeth and got dressed I put on my light blue scrubs and white slippers and my white thermal under my shirt i left my hair damped so that it was in a curly bush I put on my white head band and left out for breakfast

when I got to the lunch area I saw my friends waiting for me at our usual table and when they saw me they got in line as I followed I grabbed my tray which had eggs ,turkey bacon ,toast, and orange juice I was so hungry right now I wasted no time digging into my food

"looks like someone's hungry"Ij said as she put butter on her toast "yea August must have not filled her up"Jayla said as they all started laughing "shut up"I responded as I threw my straw at her

"don't get mad at her because you like August "Regina said as she ate some of her eggs"I don't like him we are just friends" "then why yall spent 5 hours in the game room alone"Jayla said as she drunk some of her juice

"quick question how do you know that"I asked swallowing my food down "everybody knows, Katie told everybody you know she is the mental home gossiper" Ij said biting a piece of her bacon "I hate that bitch she so damn noise I swear"I said as the nurse came over with our pills

"um excuse me Jackie but this is not my pill mine in green not blue"I said as I showed her the pill "oh yea I forgot to tell you your family could not afford the updated one no more so you got the down grade"Jackie said as she handed Regina her pill "so will it prevent my bad dreams and thoughts"I asked still holding the pill in my hand "yea it should , I really don't know I just hand them out "she said giving Jayla her pill while I swallowed mine

im not gonna lie I am a little bit scared I have to call my brother to see what's going on "Anna im sure everything will work out"Regina said as she held onto my right hand "what if it don't" I said as I stood up "then you would just have to pray for the best"Ij said as she drunk her water swallowing down her pill

"I gotta go"I said as i walked out of the cafeteria as I was walking to the phones I seen August "woe were you going so fast baby girl" August asked as he held onto my waist "I gotta call my brother"I said while walking away "so its like that no hug"August yelled at me while I was walking I turned around and said "come get it" he jogged up to he and placed his hands on my waist as mine were around his neck I stained  on my tiptoes as I gave him a tight hug 

As I let my hands go he held onto my waist as he kissed my cheek softly and passionate "see you later ma"August whispered in my ear as he walked away I stood there and held my cheek its been a year since I felt a mans touch even if it was only a kiss on the cheek

when I got to the phones i took a deep breathe before picking up the phone and dialing my brother number after 4 rings he picked up

"hello"

"hey how have you been"

"good im sorry to call and bother you"

"no its fine what's good"

"well have mommy stop paying my insurance "

"oh yea its only temporary she lost your insurance money in a poker game"

"why would she do something so stupid"

"I don't know she has been acting really different ever since she got her a new boyfriend we really don't talk"

"wow that don't seem like her"

"yea I know, but I gotta go and don't wait to long to call me love you
