Detention finally ended. Thank god. I grabbed my bag from the chair next to me and began walking out of the room. My dad is going to kill me.

I got out of the room and began walking but someone grabbed my arm. Great. I turned to see Dan. Dan?

"What are you doing this weekend?" He asks and lets go of my arm.

"Nothing.." I say and look down at my shoes and tug at my sleeves.

"We should hang out." He smiles. "My mum says she wants to meet my only guy friend." He says awkwardly.

He's told his mum about me? Why? "Sure..." I say and itch my arm which is another nervous habit I have.

"Okay well I'll text you my address, see ya later Phil." He smiles widely then walks off. "Actually how about I walk you home?"

My heart jumps. "O-okay." I studdered. He walks over to me and we begin my way to my house.

We talk very little on the way there. Once outside my house we hug and he leaves.

I walk in to see my dad standing by the window, most likely just watched me hug a guy.

"Phil... Who was that?" He asks and looks over at me angrily.

"That's my girlfriends brother, he is a good friend." I say a little frightened.

"Why did you guys hug?" He asks and begins to walk up to me.

"Dad he's just a friend!" I say and back up until I hit the door.

"He better be." He growls and pushes me hard into the door before walking away.

Great I walk up to my room and fall onto my bed, left with my thoughts. I started falling asleep even though its only 4 in the afternoon but before I could I heard my phone ding.

His address was in a different text. I have to get ready. I got in the shower quickly. Then when I got out I grabbed a pair of jeans and one of my nicer sweaters.

I brushed my teeth, dried my hair and straightened it. I guess I'm ready. It's only 6 but it'll take me awhile to walk.

"Dad!" I call down the hall. "Dinner is in the fridge just warm it up, I'm going on a date with my girlfriend."

He groans in response and I grab my phone then run out of the house.

It's about 6:45 now and I'm a few houses away. I'm debating if I should wait till 7 then knock or just get there a little early. Fuck it.

I walked up to the door and knocked softly. The door opened to show a small lady. I was only a few inches taller than her.

She smiles widely and extends her hand. "Hi, I'm Ms. Howell but you can call me Margaret."

"I'm Phil." I smile and shake her hand. She opens the door for me to come in and then closes it behind me.

"Dan is upstairs, first room to the right." She points up the staircase. "I'll call you guys down when dinner is ready."

I nod and smile before starting up the stairs. I knock on his bedroom door and wait. "One second." I hear him yell from inside. I hear the sound of things falling before Dan opens his door.

"Hi." I say awkwardly. He grabs my hand and pulls me into the room then shuts the door.

"What did she tell you?" He says and pushes me into the door lightly and holds me there. Fuck he's hot.

"Uhm uh nothing." I studder because I could feel everything pressing against me. Everything.

He pulls back and falls onto his bed. "Wanna watch a movie before dinner is ready?" He asks and pats the spot next to him on the bed.

I sit at the end of the bed far from him because I knew if I was close I would die. I nod and he puts on a random movie.

I take this time to look around his room. It literally screams "Dan". It is a nice room and it smells really good. That's weird, I'm weird.

"Boys dinner is ready!" His mum calls up the stairs to us.

We both go down the stairs, me awkwardly behind him. I sit in the seat that his mum points to which is next to Dan.

"This looks great Ms. Howell." I smile at her. She thanks me and we all begin eating.

"It's so nice to meet you." She smiles at me. "Dan hasn't shut up about you since school began."

What? I smile and look over at Dan who has his head in his hands. "Really?" I shoulder Dan a little bit. His face was really red. Wow he's adorable.

Surprise!!! 2 updates in one day. Hope you like this short lame chapter. I'll be updating again soon but most likely around May 10th I'll be on hiatus for awhile since I'll be meeting my internet friend phan_muke -Kenz xx
