Asgard

Chapter 15 - Asgard:

  Ingrid opened her eyes to reveal red petals of roses. She extended both her arms and the hellacarrier was quickly enveloped by vines from which dark red roses grew. Ivan was on the verge of screaming at his brothers to stop her, but he knew that this was the only way to keep Fury away from their home.

  "Balder, move out. The plane will crash!" Ivan said and Balder flew, picking Dustin up in the process.

  Steve was on his knees, his shield long gone from his view as the room became more and more stuffed with roses. His eyes were only watching the shiny necklace around the girl's neck. He judged her wrong, he thought she didn't care for him. But all was wrong.

  Ingrid loved him.

  "Ingrid please stop this!" Steve yelled out but it didn't reach her ears.

  "Give it up Capsicle, she can't hear you." Tony's voice came through his earpiece.

  "Tony? What do you mean?" 

  "Lady Ingrid has an ancient power not even the gods can control or defeat." Now it was Thor's turn to speak. "Lady Ingrid's ancestor saved me from danger and my father blessed her family throughout the lineage. It is surprising how all of the siblings have a gift, but it is even more surprising that Lady Ingrid can freely control her's."

  "She actually can't." A new voice sounded and the expression on the Avenger's face turned to disbelief. "Ingrid is a fragile child and it's all our fault."

  Agent Coulson and agent May were sitting in a jet, which was flying behind the Avengers who weren't inside with Ingrid.

  "Thor, you have to take her to Asgard." 

  "Pardon?" Thor was confused.

  "Last time, a friend of yours came down and saved us by taking Ingrid to Asgard." Coulson spoke. "I don't know what happened but after that we haven't seen Ingrid once."

  "Until now." Tony added.

  Steve was still inside observing the girl or better said thing before him. He was afraid, not of the danger this being held for him, but of the danger it held for poor little Ingrid McAlister. The hellacarrier began falling slowly, making Steve grab on to one of the vines. His shield suddenly made an appearance only to fly out the open window. 

  "Steve you need to get out of there!" Natasha yelled.

  "I'm not leaving Ingrid!"

  In that minute Tony flew in and angrily picked up Steve, detaching him from the vine he was oh so passionately hugging. 

  "NO! Let me go!" He fought against the iron suit, but to no avail. "Tony let me go!"

  "Calm down Steve. Thor will take care of Ingrid, don't worry and stop struggling. There is no help for that girl anymore."

  As the large plane fell to the ground Thor swung his hammer and flew inside. Nobody knows what happened in there, nobody will ever find out how Thor succeeded in getting the vines to crawl back but just as he flew out with a being out of this worldly in his arms a bright light shone from the sky and both were gone.

  "What..." Natasha and Clint said in disbelief.

  Both of them stiffened as they felt multiple presences around them.

  "Where did you take our sister?!" Balder seethed, almost on the verge of loosing his cool.

  Ingrid just got hauled up to Asgard for the second time in her life.

  Heimdall overlooked Midgard with very big and curious eyes. He was intrigued by the child the son of Odin brought up not a second before.

  "Lady Sif will be ecstatic to see this child again." Heimdall said.

  "Well, I believe all of them will be. But right now, I need to take her to father."

  Heimdall nodded and let the two pass. After that Thor wasn't seen and neither was Ingrid. Not only in Asgard but on Midgard as well.

  It was breaking Steve's heart to know that he could have prevented the girl from loosing control, but now he was eating himself out knowing that she was somewhere in another world probably suffering.
