Today is the day the plane takes off. Don't get me wrong, it was very generous of Mettaton to give those tickets to Sans and I. I've never really been fond of leaving Snowdin. I've lived here my entire life! Snowdin is home, and home is safe. "Sans? You ready to go?" I asked as I knocked on my brother's door. He sleepily walked out. Though, I suppose, 'sleepily' is how Sans does everything.

"Stuff's in the car."

"Alright! And Mettaton told me to meet him somewhere."

"Seriously, bro? You just saw him yesterday!" Sans said, irritated. His eye seemed to lighten slightly, before going back to its natural dark brown.

"I know that, Sans! He said he wanted to give me something." I tried to calm my brother down. He glared into the distance.

"Fine." He said, sharply. We got into the car. He was in the front seat, I was in the back. Toriel was also in front, where she had been waiting for us.

"Papyrus, you'll remember to watch the kids, right?"

"Why of course, Toriel!"

After driving, we got to the place where I would meet up with Mettaton. I stepped out and saw him in a small diner. I sat down at the table where he was. "Hello, Mettaton!" I smiled.

"Oh, hello, Papy!" He smiled brightly at me. I blushed at the nickname. It was a cute nickname, it was special to me because it was one only he called me.

"So, what did you want to meet me here for?"

"Well, I wanted to give you something." He winked a pulled something out of a bag. It was a cheesy Christmas sweater, and I absolutely loved it. It said 'Hotland Holidays 201x'. He held it up in the air and handed it to me. He blushed slightly. "It's really cheesy, but I wanted to give it to you."

"Mettaton...I love it! You're the best boyfriend ever!" I practically threw myself at him. I held him in my embrace and planted my lips against his. I realized how dramatic I was being and pulled away. "I, the Great Papyrus, should apologize for that...outburst."

"Oh, Papy..." He combed his fingers through my hair. "I find it absolutely adorable." He smiled at me until we heard some rather "opinionated" statements from an old woman to two younger adults and a teenager who appeared to be about 15 or 16. I pulled away and went back to my seat. Mettaton looked over at a clock. "Oh, Papyrus, you're going to be late!" I directed his attention over to a window, where Sans' car drove away. "Papyrus...I...I don't get it."

"Well, you see, I gave my ticket to Toriel so she could go with Sans, and I could stay here."

"But...why?"

"Well, I'd rather spend time with you. If you don't mind, of course." I made a nervous smile.

"Papy..." He pulled me closer and kissed me. I will admit, the table was kind of pushing into my ribs, but I didn't mind. All that mattered was that I'd spend time with my perfect boyfriend.
