Why can't I remember??? (werewolf)

The Battle

Austin's POV

As I walk out to the yard all I see is darkness.

"Okay Damian, I'm here now come out where I can see you. Or did you finally realize that you will never win and give up" I wait a few seconds hearing nothing but the sounds of the wind and my own heart beating.

After a few minutes I start to walk back into the gathering hall, but then I hear a strange noise and turn around coming face to face with Damian Storm.

"Hello Austin did I keep you waiting long?!" he says with a twisted smile.

"No not at all, now lets just get this over with" I snap back.

"Lets" he says cheap shooting me in the face with a surprise right hook.

As I fall to the ground I hear him laughing and this makes Koda more pissed off then he already was. I jump back to my feet and stair him down.

"Why don't we make this a little more fun and let our wolves fight instead" I say challenging him.

"Well that should be an interesting battle if I say so myself, so let's do it"

As we both change into our wolves I realize that his has long brown and black fur unlike mine which is pure black.

"You must have been a pampered puppy huh?!" Koda says 

The wolf just glares at him for a few moments then he finally speaks "I'll show you pampered you little mutt!!" He barks out in a fit of rage. 

He then begins to charge at me but, I easily dodge his attack and swiftly sink my teeth into his neck. He gives out a whimper but tries to snap at my leg. I then clamp my jaw harder into his flesh causing him to lose focus.

"Are you ready to give up yet?" I say through the mind link.

"Never" he manages to get out.

 He then suddenly throws his body into me. This causes me to let go of him and now he is standing over-top of me, I see rage and determination in his eyes. I quickly throw him off of me and tackle him onto the ground sinking my teeth into his side, he manages to get free and darts into the wood.

 I swiftly chase after him not wanting to let him get away. As I make my way into the woods dodging trees and jumping off of rocks he suddenly jumps on top of me from behind and sinks his razor sharp teeth into the back of my neck. This sends me to the ground with a hard thud and I am unable to move. Then out of nowhere someone or something rips him off of me, as I look around to see where they went I find that it was Luna that took him down.

Lilly's POV

"Koda are you alright" Luna says frantically. "

"I'm fine" Koda says softly.

"Thank goodness. You know I would be lost without you." I say this as tears start to fall down my face.

We then both turn back to are human forms and make are way back to the house. Once there I proceed to bandage Austin's wounds.

"God he got me pretty good didn't he?" He says with a chuckle.

"I'd say so but don't move around to much okay." I reply.

After everything had settled we then returned to the party and we both informed my father and mother that I had found my mate. In other words it was the best birthday ever.

Hey sorry everyone I know I've been gone for a long time with no notice but I was experiencing a lot of writers block. Then I ended up getting into a lovely relationship and I got a great job. But don't worry I have some new ideas for this story and I'll be weighting the next chapter right away. Until next time.
