It is November 3, 2017. Opening Night. It is the premiere of John Quincy Adams High School production of Asperger's Dream. It's a minute to curtain and all the casts and crew are getting ready. Well, mostly the leading cast. Riley Matthew and the gang are standing at the west wing, talking among themselves before house lights dims.
"This is it guys, I'm nervous." Riley utters as she got butterflies in her stomach.
"You're nervous?" Zay replied. "Smackle here didn't say anything when she came in."
"There's nothing to get nervous about." Farkle comfort to her.
"Yes there is." Smackle respond. Just when she about to say something else, the audience starts to applauding as the house lights dim and spotlight shines on Cory Matthews as he walks through the stage to reach the stand.
"I can't believe you talk my Dad into producing the play." Riley implied to Farkle.
"I can't believe you got the lead." Lucas added.
"How did Mr. Matthew convince the drama club to direct this guy's play?" Maya queried.
"He believes Kyle has a voice." Farkle explained.
"He got a story that could change the way people think about each other." Smackle added.
"People can change people." Zay implied.
