The intercom speakers switches to microphone on the light deck as the house lights begin to dim. On the east wing, Farkle and Smackle stood still as they patiently wait for their cue. The actor on the light desk call the house lights back on. The bit amount of the light from the house shine the east wing, which it's enough for the smartest couples to see each before the house kill the lights. The concern glances at Smackle and notices that she has that trouble face again. When you know someone who has Aspergers, you can their troubling expression is their way of being nervous, however this expression is a sign of exaggeration and annoyance. Lucky for Smackle, Farkle here understands what she is feeling.
"What are you nervous about?" Farkle asked.
"Nothing." The depress Smackle answered as she look down to the floor.
"Is it Nikki?" Farkle queried.
"Why is it so hard to talk to her when you have something that pushes down and I'm playing a girl who is not diagnose with Aspergers." Smackle mubbled so quietly. Then the actor from the light deck cue the house lights go out. Now the house and back stage went black. Total darkness. Farkle and Smackle can't see but hear each other.
"Nikki is never meant to become your friend. She doesn't understand you like Riley and Maya do."
"People can change people so why can't Nikki change?"
"Nikki is not the kind of person who can easily change."
"If Nikki can't change then how suppose to act when she is harassing me?"
"I don't know." As the actor, who plays Sebastian Dimes walks to front center stage, Farkle looks away from her and pays attention to Sebastian. Her exaggeration is too much for him. He wants to find the solution to Smackle situation, but how can do that while he playing a silent Autistic teenager. The important rule for Farkle is not to break character when your acting as someone else. But when Smackle is getting picked on stage, what will he do if Nikki embarrasses her on stage.
