"Morning, Papa!"

Harry smiled and turned around to find Emily standing behind him, already all dressed in her uniform for school. She was the most efficient seven year old Harry had ever met.

"Morning, Em." He returned the greeting, adjusting his blue robe and walking over to kiss his daughter on the top of her curls. "What do you want for breakfast?"

"Toast, please." She requested. Harry nodded, walking over to the counter and getting out some bread.

"I think Daddy is going to pick up you and Katie today." Harry mentioned. Emily's face lit up as she smiled at her Papa, almost identical to Harry's (except the dimples–Katie got those).

"Really?" She asked excitedly. Harry nodded, looking over to his eldest and smiling.

"Yeah, they're having me work later today." He said. "Apparently there are a lot of sick kids this week."

Emily nodded as her Papa put some bread in the toaster. "Four kids weren't there Friday." She mentioned. Harry raised his eyebrows.

"Four? That's a lot." He commented. Emily nodded, looking at her pink painted nails as Harry got a plate out of the cupboard. He then heard tiny footsteps coming down the stairs, telling him Katie was up as well.

"Katie, sweetheart, how'd you get out of your cot?" Harry wondered as Katie meandered into the kitchen. Katie shrugged and sat in a chair next to Emily.

"Climbed." She replied, rubbing her eyes and holding the stuffed bunny in her arms tightly. Harry nodded with furrowed brows, making a mental note to take the smaller girl shopping for a 'big girl bed.'

Harry took Emily's toast out of the toaster and grabbed some jam, spreading it on quickly before bringing the plate to his daughter. "Thank you!" Emily chirped, remembering her manners. Harry smiled and nodded in return, turning to his youngest.

"What about you, Katie? What would you like for breakfast?" Harry asked. Katie looked to her bunny before looking up at her Papa.

"Me and Daisy want strawberries." She said, referring to her stuffed rabbit as if it were an actual person. Harry nodded, allowing his daughter to have just a few pieces of the small fruit since he wanted that morning to go by smoothly.

"Okay, as long as you eat all your lunch today." Harry agreed. "I'll be asking Ms. Martinez if you did."

Katie nodded, only half listening. "Okay Papa." She agreed quietly, blue eyes looking up at her father. Harry smiled and nodded, grabbing the carton of strawberries from the fridge and a Snow White bowl from the cabinet.

"Hurry up and eat, Emily," Harry warned, giving the bowl of fruit to Katie. "You can't miss the trolley this morning."

Emily nodded, taking the last few bites of her toast and grabbing her Minnie Mouse backpack from the counter, putting it on her shoulders.

"C'mon, Katie," Harry urged as Emily walked toward the front door. "Let's go out and wait for Emily's trolley."

Katie nodded and hopped out of the chair, Daisy in one hand and her bowl of strawberries in the other.

The three of them sat on the front steps, Harry sitting between the two girls.

"Remember, Daddy's picking you up from school and Katie from daycare. I'll be there to pick you up at five, okay?"
