A few days go by and I'm back at Michael moms house. We're sitting on the living room couch and Mei in her arm chair. Kai was still at school.
Kai is in high school in year 12 it's his last year of school and he's also in a school band called the 'scissor heads' he's the front man as well as the guitarist and singer.
"So have you picked a date?"
"21st of June" Michael said.
"Oh how wonderful! The first day of summer, lovely!" His mother said with joy.
"Mom, do you think we can get the flowers from your store?" Michael asked.
Mei has her own little florist in her local area.
"Yes of course, I was already thinking about giving you flowers anyway" Mei said with a smile.
"Thank you Mrs. Lee" I say.
"Oh come on darling, you know just to call me Mei, besides you'll be Mrs. Lee soon"
I blush at her words and Michael hug me, just then Kai comes through the door.
"Oh, Kai Alyssa and Michael are here say hello" Mei said.
"......Hey" Kai said.
"Kai..."
"What I said hello" Kai said and I notice him carrying a guitar case again.
"Mei, do you have a piano here?" I ask.
"I have Michael's old keyboard"
"What are you up to?" Michael asked.
"Um, do you think I could here the two of you play together? I mean I've heard Michael play but I also wanna hear Kai play as well, it should be really cool" I say with a bright smile.
"Well, I haven't heard Kai play in a while" Michael said as he stood up.
"....Whatever, I guess" Kai said slightly red faced.
Kai seems happy to play in front of us.
