Chapter 3

Alexis' POV

I got out of bed and immediately rushed downstairs, the smell of bacon, eggs, and waffles were intoxicating. I sat myself down and Kandi set a plate of bacon, eggs, and waffles, with a glass of freshly squeezed OJ in front of me.

"Good morning Alexis, How did you sleep?"With a mouthful of food,

"I slept great actually. Thanks for asking.. by the way, how long have you and my dad been dating?" She cleared her throat then spoke,

"We have been dating for a month or so.." I just nodded,

"Is something troubling you Alexis? You know you can tell me anything." Just then dad walked in kissed Kandi, sat down and began eating.

"Yes princess if anything is troubling you, please do tell." I cleared my throat,

"Errm well.. I just... Colton has been acting weird lately.."

What do you mean?" They said in unison, concern noticeable in their voices.

"Hes just become too rough, perhaps a bit abusive?" I looked down, and could see from my peripheral vision my dad clenching his fists, face burning in rage.

"Alexis you better leave that boy at once!" His bellowing voice scared me a bit,

"Dad thats the thing I'm afraid he will hurt me more if I break up with him." Kandi nodded then her eyes lit up,

"Honey why dont you invite him over to dump him? and if something goes wrong your father will be behind the door?" I smiled at her she is so smart.

"Omg! Thats a great idea! Dad can you?" He nodded and smiled at me then continued eating, after we all ate, I called Colton.

"Cole can you come over to my mansion?"

"Sure sexy, on my way." Then he hung up. I went upstairs showered and changed into a denim short skirt and a t-shirt. I put on my Toms, and went downstairs, the doorbell rung, and dad hid behind the door.

"Hey babe" He says smiling at me,

"Hey listen uhh-" He cut me off by crashing his lips to mine clutching my ass. I pushed him away,

"Colton! Stop! We need to talk." He stared at me as if already knowing what I was going to say.

"Umm Colton, you have been acting strange lately, and you have been a bit abusive this past month, even before the incident of the fountain, and the picnic." He continued to stare at me, his fists clenching

"And I think it's time we break up, Im sorry but I think its for the best." He grabbed my hair and pulled me to him and he stuck his tongue down my throat forcefully, I pushed him away and slapped him. He slapped me back and I fell to the floor, I started to cry, and before Colton could move towards me dad tackled him to the floor beating him senseless.

"You dare to fucking hit a girl!? You dare to hit my daughter? You piece of shit I'll kill you!" Colton became unconscious and Kandi pulled dad away from him. Dad ordered the security to grab Colton and dump him at his own house. Moments later Colton was gone and my hand went to reach up to where Colton slapped me. I immediately began to cry, Kandi and dad wrapped their arms around me kneeling on the floor beside me, just holding me as I sobbed.

*The next day*

After the incident with Colton, dad demanded I stay at the mansion for safety, and with no hesitation I obliged. I'm sitting by the pool with Evan by my side, I told him about yesterday and he freaked out, after I told him what my dad did he calmed down a bit. Evan and I just talked and talked, it felt so good to just talk to someone and have them really listen to you. Evan did a great job cheering me up, he told me jokes, funny stories and so on. Suddenly I felt strong arms pick me up like I was a sack of potatoes, it was Evan.

"Evan Carter! You put me down right now!" I yelped, pounding his back, he didn't even budge. Then he threw me into the pool and cannon balled after me. I screamed,

"Evan you crazy dumb ass!" He splashed water my way, and we got into a water fight. We played tag in the pool, and volleyball, he swam under the water and then grabbed my legs pulling me down, I took a gulp of breath and hit him under water. He wrapped his arms around my waist brought me back up and we gasped for air, then he kissed me. My eyes widened, then I found myself closing my eyes, wrapping my arms around his neck, enjoying this gentle yet passionate kiss. We kissed for a long time which eventually turned into a hot make out session, I wrapped my legs around his waist, and he held my thighs, still floating in the water. I have to say this may be the best kiss I have ever had, it definitely is different from Colton's kisses, and beats em by a long shot.

After our makeout sesh we went out for lunch, we talked and we actually acted like a real couple. Evan is my best friend, I never saw him as anything more but maybe that could change.

*3 weeks later*

" Happy 3 weeks babe!" Evan hugs me from behind, I turned around and kissed him. Our kiss became more passionate and he lifted me up, I wrapped my legs around him, he carried me up to my room and layed me on the bed. He started undressing so I undressed as well, we got under the covers and spent a wild night together.

*The next day*

I woke up snuggling with Evan, his strong arms wrapped around my waist, my head on his chest. I listened to his heartbeat, and stared at his abs, I licked my lips and kissed his abs.

"Ready for round two?" Evan's voice startled me, I giggled as he pulled me under the covers. After having sex we went out for breakfast, we were having a great time until this girl came up to our table.

"Evan we need to talk." She said crossing her arms

"Not now Lila I'm busy!"

"Evan you have been avoiding me these past weeks, and I wanted to tell you in person." Evan looked really annoyed,

"Lila maybe if you didn't cheat on me I wouldn't avoid you?" Lila started to cry

"Evan I'm pregnant! And its yours!" I dropped my fork, and Evan began choking on his food, I patted his back and handed him his water.

"Umm you guys need to sort this out, and I got to go.. cya Evan I kissed him on the lips and left. I could hear Lila say

"You have a girlfriend already?!" I just continued walking 'Damn Evan was my ride.'

"Need a lift neighbor?" I stopped, I knew exactly who said that, I turned and saw my 'savior' in his red sports car. I got in his car and we drove away.

"Whats a pretty girl like you walking by herself for?"

"If you must know I was having breakfast with my boyfriend, until a girl he knocked up came to our table." He just laughed, and I glared at him. He drove me home, and I thanked him but before I stepped out the car he grabbed my arm, pulled me to him and kissed me.
