Chapter 6

Kandi's POV

It's been about a month since Alexis went missing and Shane hasn't stopped crying since. The police have come to the fact that she is dead. I dont believe them. As for the girls Amy and Mae have gone into a bit of depression, Amy went from a grade A average to a D. Mae isn't her usual bubbly self, and Shane and I have been having alot of angry sex. I miss Alexis so much, but apparently there is nothing we can do.  I try my best to hold in my tears but sometimes when you gotta cry, you just have to let it all out. Shane has not given up looking but unfortunately the police have. Alexis' funeral is tomorrow. Without Alexis the world just isn't right. There isn't a day that goes by without me missing her, my heart just hurts. My baby girl is out there! All alone. Many guys have come by asking for Alexis I guess she has had many boyfriends or whatever. I just pray she will come home and she is alright.

*The next day*

It was pouring outside, and all that could be heard was the cries and sniffles of the people. The priest droned on, those dearest to Alexis gave beautiful speeches, then the flowers were placed in her coffin. Everyone all dressed in black slowly started to depart, it was a beautiful yet tragic ceremony.

3 months later

Everything has gotten better. The news died down, and the Holbrooks have been getting better with each passing day. We decided to not mourn her and punish ourselves, for we know Alexis would have wanted us to be happy and dare I say it.. move.. on.

Shane's POV

I was sleeping soundly until I heard the doorbell ring. 'It's 3:00am who the hell could that be?' I walked downstairs with a baseball bat and opened the door I dropped my bat when I saw Alexis. Oh my god she is alive! A young man was carrying her bridal style,

"Mr. Holbrook I believe this is your daughter." He placed her in my arms and left. I stared at my beautiful girl in my arms, wrapped only in a blanket. I think she is unconscious. I set her on the couch and her blanket fell off. She had black and blue marks all over her body, her breasts were covered with claw marks and and they had hand prints on them, she had hickeys and bite marks. I grew in anger my baby girl has been raped and abused. I grabbed a wet cloth and started wiping down her body. I cursed at myself for having a hard on. This is my daughter! Alexis' POV

"Sweetie wake up you have school. Now Alexis be strong today, I know you went through a traumatic experience but you have recovered so well! " I slowly opened my eyes to see Kandi. I got up and quickly showered Dad came in the room and I was only in my towel.

"Oh good your up I thought I would have to tickle you awake." I laughed

"Dad Im not a baby anymore!" He chuckled and came over to give me a hug.

"Baby girl I want you to be safe, be strong, and have an amazing day today okay?" He smiled at me and I wrapped my arms tighter around him.

"I know daddy I will." I squealed as he started tickling me

"Dadd stopppp! Gahahaha" I stopped laughing when my towel fell off. I stood there in front of my dad naked, we were both frozen. It seemed like forever until he left the room. I quickly put on a bra, panties and put on a tight t-shirt that showed my cleavage, high waisted jean shorts, a brown belt, and my brown steve madden boots. I grabbed my backpack and slung it over my shoulder. I grabbed a granola bar, said bye to everyone and headed to my car, I quickly drove to school.

"omg you look so hawt gurl!" My friends all greeted me, linking arms with them we walked into the school. I bid my goodbyes to my girlfriends and went to my locker, after grabbing my books, I saw Zach. I walked towards him Zach and I had sex, and now I dont know where this leaves us.

"Zach we should-"

"Scar, I need to talk to Alexis, but ill cya later kay?" She just stared at us as Zach dragged me away. Once we were out of sight Zach yanked me into a closet.

"Im guessing your here to thank me for bringing you home?" I felt my jaw drop

"You brought me home? I dont remember how I got home.."

"Lexi baby dont worry your okay now" He wrapped his arms around my waist we were chest to chest and he started kissing my neck.

"mmmmm.. Zack you have a girlfriend." his lips met mine, and inbetween kisses he said

"Well having a girlfriend didn't stop us from fucking did it?" I so badly wanted to push him away but I just couldn't do it, I craved for his touch. We made out for like an hour then the bell rang, we both put on our shirts and left the closet. I went to the bathroom to fix my hair, Scar walked up behind me, I looked down at her.

"Alexis right?" I nodded

"Stay away from my boyfriend whore." 'If only she knew I could not.' After fixing my hair I bumped into Colton, his arm was wrapped around this girl's waist. Good for him he moved on. We stared each other down then I continued to walk to my class. I turned and saw Colton and his girl following me. I ran to my class just as the bell rang, as I walked in I heard wolf whistles, and all eyes on me. I walked to my desk swaying my hips, which comes naturally to me and sat down.

Kandi's POV

"Shane I can't be with you." He grabbed my hands in his,

"Why Kandi? You can't just leave.."

"I..I.."

*Flashback at the ball*

Drew wraps his arms around my waist pulling me to him, our lips continue to lock, and our tongues wrestle fiercely. Next thing I know clothes are off and he's inside me fucking my brains out.

"Kandi oh god I think im gonna... "

"No Drew no!"

"Kandi I'm so sorry!" He pulled out, and I quickly left the closet.

*Flashback over*

"And.. I have been seeing Drew ever since.." I took a deep breath waiting for Shane to react.

"You cheated on me?"

"Umm well not really.. I wasn't really with you.. I was your paid girlfriend.." "Drew cheated on Kit?" I nodded my head as I felt my eyes tear up.

"So where does this leave us?"

"Shane, I'm pregnant. and it's Drew's. We both agreed today would be when we break up with you and Kit."

"What about your job? Where will you live?"

"At Drew's, Shane I'm sorry I have to go." I wiped my eyes, grabbed my suitcase and ran across the street as I ran I saw Kit crying with a suitcase getting into a taxi. I approached Drew and he opened his arms we hugged and kissed and we got in his car and drove to our new home, a more family friendly mansion.

He smiled at me, and rubbed my tummy "We are gonna be a family" I smirked and we went upstairs to make love in our new home.
