~December~
I layed on the bed not daring to look back at the body which i now knew was Lexie, lying there on the floor unconsious probably dreaming a beautiful dream, which is soon to be crushed by reality.And her reality, will probably be worse than mine is. she was probably drugged so when she wakes up, she will be groggy and most likely miserable already. I heard A groan come from Lexie and i looked in her direction.
I hopped off the bed and then walked over to her, kneeling in front of her , putting my hand on her shoulder ready to console her when she starts to ask questions. She sat up, her eyes still closed, and groaned. "December?" She said in a questioning and tired tone. "Yeah its me, Lexie." She opened her eyes and they went wide. "Where are we?" she asked me in the same tone of voice as before, still tired and drained.
I looked at her and just sat, not wanting to give her the real answer yet. My eyes started to water as I looked at her worried and mislead face. I didn't want to tell her, so, I didn't. "Uhm, We're at my aunts house, in florida." She looked at me with a puzzled look on her face, "Why are we in Florida? And you never told me that you had an aunt in Florida!" I looked at her with a sad smile. "Surprise?"
She laughed a tired laugh and layed her head down. lying her hands on her forehead she groaned. "Why does my head hurt?" She got up and layed on the bed pulling the covers over her and took a deep exhail. "December, come over here and lay down with me, I'm cold!" I laughed and layed down next to her wrapping my arms around her and laughing. "Oh my gosh you are warm De." I tensed up at the nickname.
"Hey!" She suddenly said shooting up and out from under the covers. "Why don't we go and look around outside?" she said with excitement in her eyes,"Come on lets go!" she said not even letting me say a word. She grabbed my hand and pulled me out of the bed, causing me to stumble and hurt my foot, perfect. "Ow! Ow ow ow ow ow ow!" I yelped so i could stall, trying to make up a reason why NOT to go outside. "Oh, De are you ok?" She asked letting go of my wrist and kneeling down next to me. I shook ny head no and tried to start to fake cry, "Oh its burning! Ow why is it burning?" I asked her in a confused tone. "Its probably carpet burn, December! It happens to you all the time! Right?" She Asked me.
"Well it does but this time it hurts worse!" I said to her as she stood up. "Well im going to find the kitchen and get some i-" "No!" I screamed before she could finish her sentence. "I mean, I can get it. You stay here and um...look around ok?" I asked her while she looked at me with a questioning expression. "Ok, if you say so, December." I stood up and started to limp to the door, as if i was hurt, but i turned around quickly to ask, "Hey, Lexie?. What ever happned to rose?"She shrugged at me and I nodded my head,while walking out the door.
