Peru's POV
My father walked me out of the room and into the kitchen. Everything that had happened replaying in my mind over and over again.
"I can't believe she tried to kill me.....I can't believe everything was a lie". I said pacing back and forth.
" I know that she was a close friend, but you should know that its a lot of people who act to be your friend wanting to destroy you." my dad said stopping me from moving.
"Everything is just so hard to believe....I need to talk to mom, i-i just need some understanding from her." I said looking in my father eyes. He nodded and handed me his phone ,walking away and giving me privacy.
I dialed her number and waited as it rung.
"Collin honey, I have to call you back something came up." she said urgently.
Before she hung the phone I called out,"mom?"
There was silence,but she was still on the phone so I continued.
"I really need you right now, everything is just so frustrating... and i-i just need my mom right now." I said voice cracking up a little.
"Peru sweetie I'm here and will always be here what's wrong?" she asked. I cried for a while before continuing.
"well first I was kidnapped by this vampire ,who was my ex best friend's brother .Then I discovered that she and my ex boyfriend slept together while we were dating. Then I discover that my father is pretty much still alive when my mom told me that he died." after all of that, I exhaled before continuing.
"mom do you know I killed someone today?" I asked rhetorically I heard a gasp but proceeded to finish. " I little miss Peru who is scared of bugs and birds killed someone today. And the thing about it is, I didn't think twice. It felt so good to see Aaliyah burn to ashes, to get rid of her, but this isn't me mom. That girl who felt a good rush when Aaliyah died that wasn't me." I finished.
"Baby I'm so sorry for everything that has happened, all I wanted was for you to be safe not scared." she answered,
"Did you know about this, about everything from the kidnap to me and my mysterious powers?" I asked.
For a while I got no response when suddenly she said the words that crushed me to bones.
"Yes sweetie....I planned it all."
