Is This Happening?

Chapter 2

"Whoa I'm so sorr-" Julie said looking up at who it was.

"It's okay." Jason said.

"Okay uh well bye! Nice bumping into you!" Julie said laughing.

"Nice one." I said.

"I literally looked right into his eyes! I fell in love right there!" She said.

"Uh, no." I said sarcastically.

"We'll I gotta admit he's kinda HOT!" I told her.

"See, told you!" She said back at me.

We walked back to our cars.

"Well, see you later." I said to Julie.

"Ok. Bye see ya Monday." She said.

I drove home wondering. I knew I liked someone I just couldn't figure out who.

"It can not be Spencer. Or is it? No it can't be." I told myself.

I arrived at home around 4. My mom was already cooking dinner.

"Hey mom. Whatcha cooking?" I asked.

"Lasagna. Is that fine?" She asked me.

"Yeah. I've been dying for some." I told her.

I walked upstairs to my room and fell onto my bed.

"Ugh I'm so TIRED!" I said.

"Allee! Spencer's here!" My mom shouted.

"Oh great." I said tiredly.

I walked downstairs to the front door.

"Hey Spence." I said.

"Hey Al, wanna come over?" He asked.

"I dunno, I kinda wanna stay home." I said.

"Oh okay, well can I stay over for a bit?" He asked.

I looked over to my mom.

"Sure come in." My mom said.

"We're going up to my room." I told my mom.

"Door, open!" My mom said while we walked upstairs.

"Okay mom!" I said.

We walked into my room. Spencer sat down at my desk.

"Don't touch anything on that desk." I told him.

"Why?" He said, going to touch my diary.

"Noo!" I said, accidentally pushing him out of the chair into the floor.

I've ended up on top of him.

I looked straight into his eyes. I felt something I've never felt before between us. Is this really happening?

I quickly got up.

"I'm sorry, I'm just a teeny bit over protective of my private information." I said emphasizing the word private.

"Well I wasn't even gonna look through it!" He said laughing.

"You could be a good tackler though." He said.

"Shut up." I said laughing.

He jumped on my bed.

"Wow, this is comfy!" He said.

"Eh. Not really to me anyways." I said.

"How long you gonna stay for?" I asked him.

"Uh I don't know. For the night." He said.

"What?" I asked.

"I'm kidding!" He said.

"Oh phew!" I said.

A little while later, we ate dinner. After eating, we went back upstairs.

"So, who do you like?" I asked curiously.

"Well, she's smart, sensible, gorgeous and I just really love her." He said.

"Was he talking about me? He said all those things to me before."I thought to myself.

"Wow any girl is lucky to have you." I told him.

"Aw thanks Al."He said.

"What about you?" He asked.

"We'll I don't know. I don't know if I like him or what. It's really confusing." I said.

"He said all those things about me, and I can't even say one thing about him?" I thought to myself.

"Oh. Anyway, whatcha want to do?" He asked.

"Well, wanna go on the trampoline?" I asked.

"Sure." He said.

"Okay I gotta change. I can't jump around in these capris." I said getting my yoga shorts.

I changed while he was in the room. I always used to. I mean what's the big deal about changing in front of my best friend?

After changing we went to the back door and walked out to the trampoline. I had a big trampoline, since I was the only child. I also had an in-ground pool but it wasn't that warm enough to go in today.

"Watch this." I said doing a flip.

"Wow, haven't seen anything better!" He said sarcastically.

We jumped on the trampoline for a little bit longer. Around 7 we got off the trampoline. Spencer had to go home.

"Bye see ya tomorrow!" I said closing the door after he went out the door.

I took an early shower for about 20 minutes. I put my yoga shorts back on and my white t-shirt. I got into bed at 7:30. I wasn't gonna go to sleep yet. I went on my phone. I changed my lock screen to Spencer and I.

I was tired and fell asleep at about 8.
