Chapter 10

Amy POV

Ita about 7pm and Matt is coming in about 1 hour. Jorja is very excited because she hasn't seen him in like three weeks and she is just sitting on one of the chairs staring at her phone texting matt. Derek has just came back from the bottle shop with drinks and a bag of fire wood. He places the wood on the fire and sits down on his chair and cracks open a beer. A few minutes latter me and Derek see Matt walking slowly behind Jorja who is staring at her phone eagerly waiting for a message. Matt has a bunch of flowers in his hand. He walks right up behind her as quietly as he can and kisses her cheek from the back. She turns around and jumps up and lands in his arms. She gives him a kiss and he sits down on the chair. She sits down on his lap and opens two beers, one for him and one for her.

I get up to get a beer. I walk back to m seat but before I could sit down Two strong arms wrap around my waist and pull me down on to his lap. He kisses my cheek and makes him self comfortable with me sitting on his lap. I giggle a little but while I do I burst into laughter. Im looking over at Jorja who is sitting on Matts lap and look her in the eyes. She immediately starts bursting into laughter. The two boys look at each other in confusion while me and Jorja are now on the ground laughing. " Why are you guys laghing'' the boys say. " Because last time we were on a double date back in high school, the boys did the exact same thing as tonight, and i guess we just both thought of it and how ugly our dates really were." I say laughing.

All of a sudden the two boys have lifted us up and we are now dangling over their shoulders. "Where are you taking us" we both shout as they are running down the road. " "Some where fun" they reply. As their running starts to slow down I can see a small light coming from the distance. As we get closer we are now right in the middle of the arena. Ita  10pm at night and we are all standing in the middle of the arena. Me and Jorja have no clue of whats happening but the boys sure do. The lights all turn on and the screen lights up Derek grabs my hand and we walk to the side " what are we doing" I whisper as he picks me up and sits me on the chute. " Matt has something special to say" He says as he grips my hand. I look up at the screen and a slide show of pictures of Matt and Jorja are playing. At the end of the slide show there is writing that says " WILL YOU BE MY WIFE" Jorja bursts into tears as Matt gets down on one knee. " Will you marry me" he says as he opens a black boxes with a silver diamond ring inside. Jorja covers her mouth and nods her head as tears roll down her face. He slips the rig on her finger and lifts her up and she wraps her legs around his waist and kisses her. I look over at Derek who's is smiling and he looks at me. He wipes my face because i had a tear falling down my cheek. " this was her dream to Marry Matt and its coming true" I say as I hug him. We quietly walk out of the arena leaving the couple be. " So what do you want to do for the rest of the night, seeing we have nothing on tomorrow." Derek says as he opens the trailer door. " How about we watch a movie" i say as I jump on the bed and then jump off grabbing my bag getting my pjs out.

I quickly get changes into some bed shorts and a crop top and go lay on the bed. Derek turns the tv on and puts a movie on. He takes his boots off and lays down on the bed next to me. The movie starts and he has chosen Flicka. " Thought you might like this movie" he says has he rests his head on the wall behind the bed.

The movie has been going for about half an hour and I start to get sleepy I rest my head on Dereks chest. He lightly brushes my hair which makes me close my eyes.

2 months later

Derek and I have been fine and always happy with each other. We have each won all the other rodeos we have been to and we have just arrived at our next rodeo. Derek and I have been together non stop. Jorja has been planning this wedding non stop. I've been back home to see my parents and Derek came with me. My parents approve of him. They are really strick and my dad wanted to kick James ass when he made me feel like he did. We stayed with my parents for 3 days and I showed him around my ranch. He liked my brother and he thinks my parents are great. After that we traveled to his ranch and he showed me his. I meet his parents and they really liked me. They were telling me he hasn't had a really nice girlfriend. All his others were buckle bunnies. He has two sisters Tracy and Mel and they really liked me to. I meet his niece and his nephew and they really like me to. His nieces name is Lou and his nephew is Jack. He is really good with them and loves them to bits. We stayed at his ranch for 4 nights and we meet all his family. They were treating me as one of them .
