Chapter 5: Start of the portal and...

Ford's POV

I have just been talking to Bill and he says that there is a weak spot in Gravity Falls where I could build a portal to different dimensions! I was ecstatic to find out what other mysterious creatures I could discover in different dimensions. I have been thinking about calling my old college buddy, Fiddleford McGucket. I start thinking of ways to plan the portal, but I suddenly think of Sarah. I don't want her hurt and this would be pretty dangerous stuff to help with... I think to myself and I come up with an idea.

I walk out of my lab and go to the kitchen to see my beautiful Sarah cooking us dinner. I walk over to her, wrap my arms around her waist and rest my head on her shoulder. She turns her head and kisses my cheek.
"Hey Sarah."
"Hello Ford."
"I am inking of building a portal with one of my old college buddies..." I mutter.
"Really? Can I help?" She looks at me.
"I want you to help but it will be dangerous."
"I understand..." She turns away from me.
"You can help but we will need to find something for you to do." I try to cheer her up.
"Ok Ford... Night." She closes her eyes and falls asleep. I kiss Sarah's forehead.
"Goodnight my love." All I see is black...

I slowly wake up and I notice that Sarah isn't in bed with me. I look around and then a delicious smell wafts into the room and the I instantly know that Sarah is making us breakfast. I get dressed, walk down there and wrap my arms around her and hug her.
"I love you." I mumble into her shoulder. She smiles and kisses my nose.
"I love you too."
