I unfortunately cannot find the inspiration to continue this book anymore, so I'll be putting the storyline I was aiming for. Basically the whole book in one chapter.
You move into Phoenix Drop and get to know Aaron. Because he has dark powers, he was able to sense your evil magic too. He is at first skeptical of you, but you soon grow to be best friends.
Aphmau loved Aaron, but he loved you. Some bumpy incidents happen, and Aaron decides to ask you to be his. You said yes of course. He gave you a pretty necklace that was in the shape of a lock, and he had the key. Life was going okay for you two, until one day, Shadow Knights come and take Aaron.
Unfortunately, they capture you while you were trying to save Aaron. So they took you instead of him.
Two years passed, and you escaped the Nether. You, in the process of escaping, failed to close the nether portal. You return to Phoenix Drop. You were locked up, considering the fact that your Shadow Side seemed to show up more.
After a while, they let you out. You started to slowly rebuild your relationship with the man you loved. Aphmau didn't like it. She tried to harm you in multiple ways but always failed. A few days after you were released, you went back to living in your old house (Aaron lived there too).
All of this happened in about a month I guess? And obviously, the Shadow Knights wouldn't let you off easily. Gene came to bring you back but you refused. He negotiated and even warned you about your calling but you stayed.
After all, why would you leave your home?
Aaron and the rest heard of this, some of them were trying to figure out how they could keep you safe. One day, you made dinner for yourself and Aaron, instead of the usual chat you two would have he was silent. You asked what was going on but he brushed you off.
"Don't lie to me, Aaron."
"I'm not lying.." He said.
It ended with a big fight, so you ran away into a clearing where you and Aaron would always go to. After a while, you felt a Shadow prescence. You immediately assumed it was Gene but it was another girl named Claire, Aaron's ex. She, too, was in the Nether with you. You two didn't really get along and you didn't trust her either.
"Trouble in paradise?"
You tried to push her away but she said that maybe Aaron was hiding something from you. You didn't believe her, a little. She told you that if ever, Phoenix Drop won't do good to you, you'd always have a home in the Nether.
You shut her away after that sentence.
But it made you think, what if he really is hiding something?
You decided to ignore it and go back, but it was always there, in the back of your mind.
It was only a week later when you found out what he was hiding. One of the ladies told you to check on Aphmau, since she hasn't left her house in a while. You did, and she didn't look too happy to have you, her sister, there (just realised I left out a lot lmao but yeah ur her sister).
She let you in with a frown, but she looked quite anxious. Suddenly, the door to her room burst open and a little girl ran out shouting, "Mommy!"
The kid looked awfully similar to Aaron. Feeling sick to the stomach, you left Aph's house and immediately returned to your own. Aaron was there, and he didn't miss the tears streaming down your cheeks.
"Y/n..?" He called.
You broke down, falling to your knees. He rushed to your side but you just pushed him away. He asked you why you did that.
"She's yours, isn't she?"
He didn't need you to explain what you asked, he knew you found out about his child with Aph. Unfortunately, that was also the same day wherein your calling was supposed to hit.
And dang, did it hit you hard.
Your body was weak from all of the pain you were in so it was easy to attack you. Plus the fact that Gene was right outside your door.
The moment he heard you cries of pain, the Shadow Knight barged in to take you. And instead of refusing, you let him.
"Y/n!"
"Don't call for help, I wouldn't want to stay here anyway," You told Aaron.
His face mirrored your sad expression, with tears and a deep frown.
"But-,"
"Sure, you picked me up when I couldn't fly. You became my wings, Aaron. But I don't want wings, I don't want to fly."
Gene stepped aside, he knew you would come and he knew how serious your situation was.
"Please, stay!" Aaron begged you.
"I wish you luck with your family. I love you, Aaron. But I think it's time for me to fall."
THE END
Whew. I finished it. It was originally supposed to be a happy ending, where you take in the kid because Aphmau wanted you to be happy. But I started writing and I just let my body (?) do the work.
I don't know if anyone will still read this, but if you're reading this right now, thank you.
I started this book 2 or 3 years ago because my love for Aphmau was incredible. Through Aphmau, I was able to meet close friends who mean the world to me.
I didn't finish writing the whole thing because I stopped loving Aphmau, I still do and I still watch some of her videos sometimes. But I guess I just lost the inspiration to write this. Aphmau was a huge part of my life and she still will be.
But I don't think I can do any more Aphmau fanfiction. I stopped watching her series, because I feel so disconnected when I watch them. All I can watch is her videos playing games with her friends.
I'm truly sorry to those who expected a lot from this book (but there's really nothing to expect).
