Rule #8: Deal with your emotions (avoiding conflict)
A person can feel a lot of emotions. It can be happy, sad, angry, proud, lonely, and many more.
When you are happy, be happy. Jump for joy!
When you are sad, be sad. Cry those tears away!
When you are angry, be angry. Let it all out!
When you feel a certain emotion, embrace it, don't contain it within yourself.
But too much of anything is dangerous. Learn how to control yourself, learn how to control your feelings.
Often times, people commit mistakes because they let their emotions get the better of them.
When you are happy, don't make promises because one day, you might not be able to keep it.
When you are sad, don't think ill of others and don't think of doing odd things to yourself.
When you are angry, don't use it as an excuse to hurt someone. Just because one is hurt doesn't mean you have the right to do the same. Never play fire with fire because in the end you will only be burned.
Also remember how to control your temper because letting your emotions lead you can leave you with regrets (which shouldn't be).
It is alright to feel these emotions but don't let any of it lead you to losing someone or losing the way to where you should be.
As much as possible, avoid stress or conflicts. You are already thinking of many things don't allow another burden enter your life.
