Rule #7: Don't let other people run your mind
Once you let someone else run your mind, envy, jealousy, insecurity and self-pity comes into life.
When you see other people living their lives to the fullest, you immediately feel that weird feeling inside you. Sometimes, you'll reach the point wherein you are wondering 'Why is my life like this? Why am I so unlucky?. Piece of advice: When you reach this point end it immediately.
When you let it get to you, you will feel envious or jealous of other people. You will feel bad for not being able to smile and laugh just like how the others do.
When you reach that point, your insecurities start to cloud your mind. Sometimes, you will even hate other people for being the way they are.
You start blaming someone else because of your situation. Then, you blame yourself. And here comes, self-pity.
You pity yourself to the point that you try to be someone else. At the end, you will become someone you aren't.
There are also cases wherein you let what others say about you ruin you. You let the society's say be your say as well.
Remember that what others say about you won't define who you are. Never allow their thoughts create a ruined version of you.
Don't mind them. You know yourself better than anyone else.
But then, everyone (even those who are living their lives to the fullest) are going through battles as well. Those who are judging you or saying things about you are probably going through something, too.
Life is fair because it is unfair to everybody.
