Survive

The scream

We woke up the next morning because of loud noises outside. My mom didn't care but these noises didn't look normal to me. I looked out the window but saw nothing. Oh well, I must've been dreaming. I went over to my mom's bed.

"Rise and shine eomma, it's a brand new day"

"Only 5 more minutes"

"No! Now!"

"I'm the mom, I decide"

Ok then, I guess I have to use another technique. So i went 2 inches from her ear and said:

"Mom, mom, mom, mom, mommy, mommy, mommy, mommy, mama, mama, mama, mama"

"SHUT UP! OMG YOU'RE SO ANNOYING"

"hi" *giggles uncontrolably*

"I'M GONNA GET YOU"

And we started chasing each other like 2 big kids. Remember that she is my mom.

We got dressed and ate muffins before we left for another day of voluntary work.

We got out of our room and went down to the lobby. We got outside and it was oddly quiet and they were a lot of abandonned car. What the heck happened?

"I'm going back to bed" i said

"No! We have to know what happened"

"To be honest, I don't really want to know, and oh listen! I think my bed is callling me"

"Stop it Ely! It's not funny! They might be hurt people and we need to help them"

"Fine. Go look that way, i'll go check over there."

I was just casually walking and checking for wounded people but the only thing I saw was abandonned car and stuff scattered across the ground like purses, books, bags. Now i really wonder what happened.

All of a sudden, I heard a spine chilling scream coming from behind me. It was my mom. I sprinted and ran toward the scream with a thousand terryfing scenarios going through my head.

"MOM! WHERE ARE YOU? MOM PLEASE ANSWER ME" I screamed

Tears were running down my face, my heart was beating. Where was she? Why couldn't i see her anywhere?

"MOM! PLEASE MOM ANSWER ME!"

I was panicking and I was still running around until I saw something moving. I stopped and looked its way. It growled at me. What the heck is that?
Don't tell me it's what I think it is.
