Hurtful past

The next morning~Leah's pov

I opened my eyes and sat up. Everyone was still sleeping. I got up and walked outside to get some fresh air. The weather was nice and hot. Maybe we'll be able to go find Ely. I should wake everyone up.

I went inside and started with my favorite person. Jungkook. I sat next to him and as I was about to shook him lightly to wake him up, he grabbed me by the waist and hugged me like a teddy bear.

Fortunately my back was against him so we would not be face to face if he wakes up. I tried getting out of his grip but he was too strong for me. So, I just stayed there. There must be a way of getting out.

Everything was silent apart from rapmon snoring louder than a construction site. I should ask Senem to help me.

"Senem!", I whispered-yelled.

She shifted a bit. That means she heard me in her sleep. I tried again.

"Senem!"

She didn't move.

Crap.

I then realised that the room was oddly quiet. Why did Rapmon stop snoring? I turned my head slowly over to him. He was sitting up and looking at me. His face was weirdly crinkled. I think he was trying not to laugh at the sight of my panicked self and jungkook sleeping tight. I looked at him with big surprised eyes and it's at that moment that he lost it.

"POUHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!OMG!!! WHAT THE HECK IS THIS????", he screamed.

He was laughing so hard that he fell off his bed and was still holding his stomach, wheezing. He was screaming so everyone woke up and started chuckling.

"YAH! KOOKIE WAKE UP AND LET THE POOR GIRL GO", taehyung said laughing and shaking jungkook.

Jungkook woke up and let go of me.

"Oh my god! I am sooooo sorry", he said with his messy hair and a big blush on his cheeks.

"It's alright", I said scratching my neck
awkwardly.

"Anyways", I said to change the subject. "The weather is really nice today, we should go get Ely"

"I agree", Jimin said.

We all looked at him surprised. We all tought he hated her.

"Since when do you care about her?", Camy said with an angry look.

"I always did", he replied looking serious.

Camy walked closer to him.

"Then why did you insult her? Why did you make her run away? Why were you so mean when she didn't do anything but cared for you"

She wasen't screaming or anything but you could feel the anger in her tone.

"Maybe you won't like the reason but this is why...."

Jimin's pov

Maybe you won't like the reason but this is why...", I looked at Camy and the others who were all looking at me with furious eyes.

Even J-hope. I was scared but they deserve to know and I don't want them to hate me anymore.

"I don't hate her. I really don't. I actually find her really nice and friendly.", I said.

"Then why did you do all that you did ?", Senem asked.

"Because she reminds me of the woman who ruined my life a few years ago."

They all looked at me with puzzled look apart from Jungkook because I only told him.

"Who is she? And what did she do?", Jin asked.

"She....she...", I couldn't finish my sentence.

Tears formed in my eyes.

"She ki....she kil...", I started crying. Jungkook took over.

"His cousin killed his mom and little brother", he said with empathy.

I started crying harder and shaking as I was reliving the pain I felt when I learned about the tragedy.

~8 years ago~

I was in class with my friends and we were talking because we were done with our work. Suddenly, the principle came in our class.

"Is Park Jimin here?", he asked.

I got up and went in front of him and bowed.

"your father is waiting for you outside, grab your things, you're dismissed for the day", he said.

I started panicking.

What happened?

Why was my father here to pick me up and not at work?

I grabbed my things and ran to my locker. A few teachers told me off for running but I didn't care. I ran to my locker, packed my things and went outside to the front fence.

When I arrived outside, I saw my dad's truck and got in. I put my bag down and looked at him. His eyes were puffy red. He started crying when he saw me. I was worried. I'd never seen my dad cry before. He put his hand on my shoulder and looked at me. He was gonna say something but he changed his mind and hugged me. I was confused. It was the first time he hugged me in years. He let go of me and start driving. I looked at him with a mix of emotions.

"Appa....". He didn't answer.

"Appa....what happened?"

"I'm going to tell you, just not now", he said with his eyes glued to the road.

I didn't insist. I looked at the road and my toughts were a blur.

We arrived to my favorite place in the world. It was a spot that me and my dad used to come every week end to fish, hunt and just play and have a "bro time" that my dad would call. I always found that expression funny. We got out of the car and sat on a bench close to the lake.

My dad looked at me.

"Jimin....something happened today..", he started.

"What happened?", I said with fear of what the answer would be.

"Your cousin Ji su.....she killed your eomma and dongsaeng", he said with tears.

I didn't cry. I didn't react. I was in shock. I was in another world. A world far away from this cruel reality.

My dad hugged me again. Now, the emotions kicked in. I cried and cried and cried.

I hated Ji su.

Hi! I'm sorry for the late update. I actually have a reason now. It's almost the end of the year so I had a lot to do. Anyways i'm sorry if this is sad but it'll get happier at some point. Thanks for reading 😄!!!
