I had been in the Mist Village for three days already, leaving me with three and a half more before I had to go on my way to the Lightning Village. Honto focused on teaching me the water clone jutsu and the other day we started practicing the Water Bullet Jutsu; the Mizukage continued to work on my stamina and endurance, something that I hated deeply but knew that it was something that would help me in the future. Today Honto had me all day, the Mizukage had to cancel our training due to meetings and an overflow of paperwork so Honto was going to 'work me to the bone.'

"Much like yesterday we will be working on the Water Bullet Jutsu. By kneading chakra into your stomach, you will be able to expel a large quantity of water in various ways since this technique is very versatile and has many variations. Some stay true to the 'bullet' form where the water will take the shape of small balls, or bullets, some use the technique through their hands although the hand signs change so I suppose they aren't the same but it's basically the same concept. Since yesterday we just talked about it at the end of our training session, today you will be demonstrating the technique."

I nodded and watched as he demonstrated the hand signs for me, tiger – ox – tiger – rat, going over them a few times in my head before doing them myself without channeling chakra. I slowly focused my chakra in my stomach, kneading it together and forming the hand signs; it wasn't comfortable but it wasn't uncomfortable either as the water traveled up my throat and into my mouth. Opening my mouth a little bit, a steady stream of water came out, almost like a fountain, I narrowed my eyes as I stopped the technique and heard Honto laughing from the side lines.

"What do you think you're laughing at Honto-senpai?!" I grumbled at the elder.

"It's cute, keep practicing but don't overdo it. I don't need you choking on water even though it's almost impossible for that to happen but I'm sure you would find a way to choke on it."

"Why you - !"

I quickly formed the hand signs and focused my chakra again but aimed at the laughing Honto and released the jutsu, a large stream of water left my mouth at a fast speed as it hit Honto square in the stomach causing him to be pushed into the tree behind him, a loud snap could be heard from the tree due to the force of the jutsu.

"Ah! Honto-senpai are you okay?! I'm so sorry I don't know what came over me!" Yeah right, you jerk! You deserved that for laughing at me! I grumbled internally as I jumped over to him to make sure he was okay.

Honto groaned loudly as he rolled over onto his stomach and sat up on his knees, "At least we know you know how to do the move. Try it again but don't aim at me this time okay? God that hurt..." Honto whined as he poked his stomach and winced after each poke.

"Maybe if you stopped poking your stomach and went to get it healed at the hospital you would stop whining like a baby."

"You're so mean Saku-chan. Well, I guess. Come on, we'll get my injury treated and then get some food." Honto said as he stood up and winced as he stretched his arms above his head.

I rolled my eyes at Honto as he began to walk in the direction of town and followed behind him, to be honest, even though he was annoying he was a great teacher to me. I'm actually learning and my flaws were addressed but was shown how to combat them, it was something so new to me but I was grateful for every moment.

Walking through the Mist Village to say the least was odd, Honto was right that day on the ship that I would stick out amongst the crowd, it was awkward to have to explain that pink was my natural hair color but after a day people just stared instead of pointing and whispering. But all and all, the village was nice, it was different from the Leaf Village all together but it was unique in its own way. I quickly learned that they had more events going on like street markets and activities for families and even fun festivals from what I've heard, it sure was different then what it used to be when it was the Bloody Mist according to text books.

When we got to the hospital, the woman at the front desk greeting us and said she would get a nurse for us after we told her the issue. After a few minutes of waiting and told to sit on an empty hospital bed that was in the hallway, a young woman wearing a simple outfit came over to us and introduced herself as Kona and asked what the issue was. Honto said that he got hit by a mild water technique since he 'let his guard down' as he so obviously tried to flirt with her; he was told to lift his shirt up and she put her hands right above his stomach as her hands began to glow a slight green – green! I couldn't believe my eyes, I asked her what she was doing and she said she was using her chakra to see if there was any internal damage and if none, she would use it to just get rid of whatever swelling and bruising there was.

"I want to do that!" I exclaimed before covering my mouth with my hands, I had meant to say that in my head but I guess not.

"You have to have excellent chakra control and a lot of patience. Medical ninjutsu isn't simple and it isn't easy, one wrong move and you could damage a patient further or end their life all together. I'm sure you could manage to learn on your own if you fit under that category, if not you could always try to find a teacher. There aren't a lot of people that can use ninjutsu but I'm sure you'll be able to find someone." Kona said with a smile on her face.

Kona quickly finished healing Honto, it was just some bruising that would form over the next few days but said that it wouldn't be insanely painful when moving. Honto signed himself out and began to drag me down the street until we reached what I've learned fairly quickly, his favorite dumpling place. We were eventually seated and Honto ordered for us before we settled down with our drinks.

"So, how are you liking it here?" Honto asked.

"It's different from the Leaf that's for sure, I miss the warm weather honestly."

"Eh, you get used to it after sometime. The mist clears up once in a while so you could see the sun better and actually feel the heat from it... think you'll ever come back here? I'm going to miss you when you leave Saku-chan."

"Sometimes I swear you're my age." I said while sipping my water.

Honto rolled his eyes before they widened with happiness, I turned my head to see our waitress with our food, and I guess that's why. Once the plates were placed on the table he instantly began eating his portions which made me grimace, his way of eating was identical to Naruto and if the way he ate on the ship didn't prove it then this did. I slowly began to eat my meal, listening to Honto talk about random things from how he became a jounin to the details of his vacation, it wasn't all that interesting but it would be rude not to listen to him. I was beginning to miss home and my parents, something I didn't have when Team 7 was sent on that almost month long mission to the Land of Waves, I was fine then but now, now I'm missing home. Maybe it was because I was so far away, or because I was on my own, either way all I wanted to do was go home and hug my parents.

"Honto-senpai... what are we going to do for the rest of the day?" I asked as Honto patted his full stomach.

"I was thinking that we work on some weaponry eh? Get you equipped to a weapon and maybe teach you about other weapons and how to overpower them." Honto replied.

"Okay, sounds like a plan."

Kunai were the only weapons I knew how to use, aside from shurikens. I knew that there were all sorts of weapons, Zabuza had his large sword and TenTen had her thousands of weapons, to be able to train with a weapon made for me would be knew, a whole new learning experience that I for sure wouldn't be able to learn overnight let alone a few days. I would have to spend my free time teaching myself how to wield my future weapon, be it a katana or senbons or who knows what it will be! I could only hope that it would be the perfect fit for me and that I wouldn't mess up.
