"They jumped out of nowhere and killed Princess!" Cross continued.
Black and Khet listened carefully and so did the crowd. Khet looked confused, sad and angry at the same time, Black saw. Panda had stopped crying and was now standing beside Khet. Black looked nothing like her even though they were brother and sister. She had long flowing blond hair which covered one sparkling blue eye. She wore a purple shirt with the straps cut off on her shoulders and short black shorts.
"Who...are they?" Khet questioned.
"I'm not sure. They disappeared after I saw them. But they seemed like Raiders, probably from the village of Trenant." Cross answered.
The village of Trenant was the closest village beyond the mountains and were know for raiding and griefing other villages. A sudden ring brought everyone looking up. the bell of the Emerald Palace sounded above on the mountain tops. The Emerald Palace was like an institute for the finest warriors in all of Minecraftia. They had the most amazing PVP skills that anyone had seen. Black had never seen the Palace itself, only it's members got past the outlining gates. Khet was a member of the elite warriors in the Palace, Black envied him A LOT. Black had always had dreams of being one of the warriors in the Emerald Palace. 3 ropes snaked down from above and on them, 3 humans slid down them. They reached the floor of the village and Black realized that they were Emerald Palace warriors.
"Alright, calm down the professionals are here," the first began, "what happened"
"Princess, a villager, was murdered by a bunch of raiders!" one of the crowd piped up.
"I said I think they were raiders, I wasn't sure!" Cross interrupted.
"Well if there was a murder then we will see to it. You can now all go back to your normal village lives while we stay around and figure out what happened.' the first warrior said again.
He must of been very convincing because the crowd dispersed and people continued what they were doing. Black walked over a stood next to Panda and Khet, he was about to say something when he was interrupted.
"Khet. I'm surprised to see you here." The warrior who had spoken before stated.
"General! I was just-I mean I was-uh" Khet stammered, trying hard to keep his voice steady. In his one visible eye, Black could see he was surprised and scared at the same time. Jeez Khet could display so many emotions at once. The General stopped him before Khet could start again.
"Enough. You can head back to the Palace now before it gets dark, I want you on patrol tonight with us." the General said firmly.
Khet just held his head down and sighed. The General and one of the two warriors who had descended down the ropes with him, walked of further into the village. The other warrior stayed behind and walked up to Khet. Black recognized him as one of Khet's warrior friend Tiger. Tiger looked as impressive as his PVP skills were.
"Khet, we should probably go before General gets mad" Tiger said, putting a furry paw on Khet's shoulder armour.
"Yeah......I guess." Khet mumbled in response.
Black waved to Khet as he and Tiger turned away. They walked a couple of steps before Khet stopped and let Tiger carry on walking without knowing Khet had stopped. Khet turned and looked in Black's direction but he was looking to the person beside Black. Panda looked back at Khet, like they were saying mental goodbyes to each other.
"Khet, come on!" Tiger said from a little off in the distance.
Khet reluctantly turned and rand up the street to Tiger. When he caught up he managed a quick glance over his shoulder at Panda before they started walking again. Black turned to his sister.
"Are you ok? Do you want to do something, go somewhere-"
"I'm going home." Panda said gloomily, interrupting Black in mid sentence.
She walked down the street towards her and Black's home and Black stood there in silence, just as the Glowstone lamposts flickered into light.

Khet trudged silently next to Tiger as they walked up the stair mountain path. Around them, snow lay on the ground and more snow could be seen further up the mountain. it hadn't been long but Khet was already sick of stairs. he looked at Tiger who seemed to be walking up the steps like they were flat grass blocks. Tiger was pretty impressive, looks and skills. His skin was orange with lightly streaked yellow through the fur. He had large black eyes and had two sharp fangs hanging out his mouth from his top jaw. He wore a Kung-fu like long shirt and pants, which were coloured red and black. But the most impressive thing about Tiger was that he never used a sword, unless there was no option of course. Tiger had sharp and deadly claws on the tips of his blocky paws, his PVP skills were based on those claws causing offence and defence. Tiger had been an Emerald Palace warrior longer than Khet and he had show him the basics of being a EPW. Tiger, noticing Khet was looking at him, broke the silence.
"So......what about you and that village chick Panda eh Khet?" Tiger asked, a playful grin on his face.
Khet stiffened all over but he kept walking.
"what about it?"
"Come on Khet it's SO obvious you like her!" Tiger winked at him
"I don't like her"
"Oh so you LOVE her?"
"NO!"
"So you just like her?"
"No I-..............It's that obvious isn't it." Khet sighed, knowing Tiger this conversation wasn't going to end quickly or easily.
"Of course it's obvious! Your there making googly eyes at her when your supposed to be doing your job!"
"I am not"
"You are too"
"Tiger-"
"Well I don't blame you, she is not that bad looking" Tiger continued, his grin almost bigger than his head.
Khet was about to reply when the Emerald Palace gates appeared in front of them. They where two Iron Doors set in the giant wall surrounding the palace. Ok so anyone could break the Iron Doors and enter the Emerald Palace but, if your not a member of the palace, loads of traps awaited you on the other side. Even the mobs were smart enough to leave the gates alone. Tiger pressed a button and a piston with a pressure plate came above the ground. Tiger stepped on it and waited. The Iron Doors opened to the presence of a EPW and through the gates, the Emerald Palace Towered above them.
