Khet's Pov~
Khet flopped onto his bed. He was so tired from the day and patrolling late at night with the General that the bed practically dragged him to it. Nothing unusual was found on the late night patrolling, except a startled chicken that had been wondering around the place. Khet rolled over and thought about his conversation with Tiger. Did he like Panda? Or was he just blind to see the truth?
Impossible.....she would never like me....
Khet rolled over again so he layed on his stomach. He sighed again and closed his eyes. At that exact moment, a loud echo of the Emerald Palace alarm bell that rang through Khet's Dorm. Khet buried his head in the pillow a groaned loudly.
No! Enough for one day!

Khet yawned and his head fell onto Tiger's shoulder next to him. Like Khet himself, Tiger didn't seem in the mood for being woken up in the middle of the night for an alarm. The alarm had been called by two EPW's that had returned late from a patrol. One of them was a warrior from back in the village earlier that day that had climbed down with the General. Her name was Pluto. She was the first EPW that was female and boy, she was good at it. She specialised in potions and sword combat and was one of the best EPW's in the Palace. Across the hallway, Pluto was standing talking with her associate, Sab discussing probably what happened on the patrol. The large doors at the end of the great hall opened and Khet straightened up immediately. The General stormed in, obviously The King obviously sent the General to attend the matters while he stayed in his chambers.
"What is the Meaning of the alarm Sab?" The General asked, annoyed. He looked ruffled, like he had just gotten out of bed.
"Sir," Sab began, "we would like to report a new Murder."

Panda's Pov
The bright sun finally cam up, it shone bright rays of light into Panda's bedroom. Panda, awoken by the morning light, sat up in her bed and yawned. She pulled her blocky legs over the side of the bed onto the wooden plank floor of the second floor of the house and walked across the floor and down the stairs. Black was still asleep in his room, and would be for a while, so she decided to take a walk outside. The village of Emeraldia was alive with activity. Panda walked down the village street and saw what all the comotion was about. In the village square, the village leaders were auctioning Princess's items from when she died. Princess would also be given a memorial in the village hall and her home (if not occupied by a close friend or family member) would be auctioned off also. It was traditon. Panda kept her head down and held her tears as she carried on down the street. After walking a fair mile, she walked into someone.
"oh! I'm sorry!" she said surprised.
"That's quite alright."
That voice. It sounded familiar. Confused, Panda looked up. It was Cross.
"Cross! I didn't expect to see you!"
"Yes, many people don't. have you heard the news?"
"News?"
Cross leaned against a lampost, crossed his arms and continued.
"There was another murder late last night. The victim was a Emerald Palace Warrior."
Panda immediately thought of Khet but brushed it away. No, he couldn't be dead. Not him.
"Do they know who it was?"
"Yes, an inexperienced EPW called Jake. Two warriors found his items outside the Palace walls"
"Oh ok- wait. How do you know he was inexperienced?"
Cross smirked and the black markings on his arms shimmered in the glowstone light.
"Well an EXPERIENCEDEPW wouldn't be wandering around the outside of the Palace at night that wasn't called for a patrol. And according to the General, he wasn't."
"Oh."
"The town leaders have become cautious and the Emerald Palace is increasing the amount of patrols around the town day and night."
"Damn. Wait, you know all this how?"
"I guessed." and with that Cross stood up and walked down the street panda had come.
Panda stared after him. Cross was a confusing fellow. Infact, Panda had never seen him before! She knew everyone in the village and if a new human was spawning, she would've known about it. But for Cross, it was like he appeared out of the clouds...
She dawdled for a moment, pondering if Cross had been telling the truth and realised he had. EPW's were patrolling around town and asking some Emeraldians questions relating to the attacks. Panda sighed and looked up, the sun was straight up in the sky and would begin to start setting soon. Panda continued walking down the street.

Black's Pov
The sun was straight in the sky when Black awoke from his deep sleep.
"Dammit! why did I sleep in so late!"
He threw himself up and ran down the stairs, 3 at a time, and outside, leaving the door open. He rushed out onto the streets of Emeraldia village. He picked apples, collected wheat, mined Melons collected carrots and potatoes, filled water buckets from the well, crafted items for people at the village Blacksmith {where Black worked for money} all untill the sun was turning a deep orange. He sighed deeply and returned home to find Panda sitting on the stairs.
"Hey Panda"
"Mhmm"
"........what are you thinking about?"
"I ran into Cross today"
"Oh.....and?"
"He seems so...mysterious. No one has ever seen him before or knows about him and they just go along with it like he was one of us."
"So it's like he had just appeared-"
"-from nowhere."
And with that, the two sibling watched the block sun finally fall over the hill, shrouding the village in darkness before the florescent lights of the glows tone pierced the dark.
