Chapter 2

Mandy

I ran to my car and started the engine. I looked in the rear view mirror and saw Shawn running towards my car. I started to drive away. It took me 45 minutes to get back home. I ran to my room and started bawling my eyes out all over again.
"Mandy?!" My dad screamed at me.
"Get down here now!" He screamed again with anger at me.
"No..." I whispered. I looked down at my feet. He ran up the stairs and into my room.
"What did you just say to me?!" He said startled a bit.
"I said... NO. I'm not listening to your bs and I don't EVER want to get abused... EVER!" I screamed at his face. He kicked me, threw me and punched me that finally I was on the floor laying motionless. The room started to get darker and the last thing I saw was my dad walking away. Then my eyes closed.
"Mandy?" Someone said worried. Huh? Who could be saying my name? Nobody cares about me and doesn't even notice me.
"Mandy? Are you all right?" Someone said again. I got up slowly and my head started throbbing. It hurt so bad.
"Yeah..." I said half heartedly. I looked up to see my... Mom?
"Mom?" I said crying my eyes out.
"Is that really you?" I said curious.
"Yes... But I'm a ghost. Mandy... Just know that I will always love you. And remember I always look after you." She said in a sad tone trying to comfort me.
"I love you too mom." I said hugging her tightly.
"It's time for me to go. Bye." My mom said one more time and hugged again.
"Bye." I said whispering.
"And don't forget to tell..." My mom started to say but she disappeared. What was she going to say? I decided to just go to bed. I changed into sweat pants and a tank top. I cried about everything that was going on in my life. I cried my self to sleep...

Mandy

I woke up before my alarm clock. Great it's 5 in the morning.
"I'm just gonna skip school today." I said under breath. I changed into new sweatpants and a Magcon hoodie and red converse. I grabbed 500 dollars from my dad so I can go to Magcon again. I rushed to my car and started the engine again. I started to drive to Magcon.
•45 minutes later•
I finally got there and I payed. I rushed to the corner farthest away from the stage. As I was standing around my phone vibrated. I took it out and looked on Twitter. OMG! My mouth was opened wide.
@shawnmendes: Hope I see this mysterious girl tonight 😉
As I was looking through Twitter music started to go on.
"First is Shawn Mendes! He is going to sing 'Kid In Love'!" Taylor screamed. I freaking love this song! Shawn started to sing and I sang along with him. As usual I always tune every sound out while I sing.

As I started to sing I heard the girl sing quietly again! While I was singing I signaled everyone to be quiet with my hands. Jack G went to find the girl. Hope this works!

Mandy

Someone grabbed my back!
"AHHHHH!" I screamed as loud as I could.
"Shhhhh." Someone said.
"Who are you?! What do you want from me?! Where are we going?!" I said blabbing question to the person.
"I'm Jack Gilinsky. I don't want anything from you and we are going on stage." He said beaming with joy. I rolled my eyes. He carried me all the way there. Half of the girls were staring at me probably because they think I'm going "to steal their man". Like seriously?! Jack let me go on stage and I met eye to eye with Shawn.
"That was the most beautiful voice I have ever heard." He said with a big smile.
"Your Mandy right?" He asked. I was frozen like stone. I nodded than ran. But sadly someone caught me.
"What did I get myself into..." I muttered to myself.
