Mandy

I turned my head to look at my dad.
"Where did you go?" My dad said quietly.
I scoffed "Why do you freaking care?! When did you ever actually care?! When?!" My voice started changing to a scream.
"I cared about you all my life!" He screamed.
"You sure show it." I said rolling my eyes. My vision started to get blurry and I ran outside and climbed up a tree near the park. I sure miss my mom. I quietly cried.
"Mandy?" Someone said my name. I looked down to stare down at Matt. I feel like he's a true hero to me.
"I'm up here." I said silently. I heard some rustling and saw Matt climbing up closer to me. The next move Matt did I didn't expect it from him. He hugged me and everyone should know not to hug me. I cried into his arms.
"It's ok." He cooed at me.
"My mom died and my dad abuses me. I have no friends and my life is horrible." I sobbed. Then it started to pour rain.
"I know how you feel Mandy. My fish died once. It died on the day I bought it." He said with a small smile.
"But maaaattt. Yours is easy to get over with. Trying to forget about your mom is harder than a loss about a fish." I giggled a little.
"Can I tell you something Mandy?" He asked. It sounded like he was shy which is so cute.
"Yeah?" I said.
"I feel like I can tell you anything. I feel like I can trust you and you won't tell." He said with a huge smile.
"Me too." I said quietly. I jumped off the tree and Matt followed too.
"Let's get back. Everyone else is by the car." He said closely to my ear. I nodded. He too my hands and laced them together. I laid my head on his arm and closed my eyes.
