Unknown feeling!!! Part-1

Nandini's pov

I finally took a breath of

relief as all the arrangements for the inauguration came to an end. It feels so exciting...and I just hope that this cafe

works for both of us.

"Nandini, help it,"Mrs. Rodham said approaching me with my medicines in her hand.

"Thank you so much Mam, I had forgotten to take them."

"I so Damn knew it that you will forget it and Harsh was sure too that you would do such carelessness hence he gave me your medicines till he is out to the cafe,"  Mam chipped as she handed me the meds and gave me a glass of water .

"Nandini, now you should go home and take some rest as it's just 1pm now and function will start at 5pm."

I was about to deny but before I could do any such thing she gave me a straight look and said," I am not asking you to rest for you but for your baby dear. You are running here and there busy with the preparations but you should take care of your health love. You have to be very careful when it comes to your baby."

Her words had a motherly touch which made me my heart slip into a peaceful aroma.

"Ok ok... I will go and take rest Mam and thank you so much once again for being there for me," I chipped as I stood to leave.

"How much time will you be taking Mandy? It's already 4:30pm now! We have to reach the cafe soon," I heard Harsh shouting as he came to pick me up and here I am juggling with these earrings!!!

"Just two more minutes Harsh," I too shouted so that my voice reach him in the dinning hall.

"There you are," Harsh chipped and I turned to face him entering my room.

"Sorry Harsh, but just wait a minute I will just be ready," I replied looking back at the mirror and trying to wear this new pair of earring I had bought recently but I don't know why the hell I wasn't able to wear them.

"Looks like you will need a whole day to wear them!" Harsh chuckled and made his way towards me while I faced him making a pout.

" Let me help you,"he said taking the earring from me.

He tugged my hair carefully and in a swift move made me wear the earring in my left ear.

"Ohh! Thank you Harsh," I chipped smiling while he made me wear the earring on the right ear too.

"Now your thank you is accepted my Lord," he said dramatically.

I took a final glance of myself in the mirror. Being almost 5 months pregnant, my baby bump was growing now and even could be noticed easily and hence to make my look simple and comfortable I chosed a simple loose red floral frock and wore simple red classic look slippers.

"Not stop staring yourself! You aren't going to take part in a beauty contest," Harsh said laughing at me as he sensed me admiring myself in the mirror.  I gave him a murderous look and then chuckled at my own reaction and we made our way out of the room.

Once we got in the car, he asked me,"Nandu, you had told me that you wanted to invite some people from the company where you worked earlier. So have you invited them?"

His mere question made me smirk as I replied looking out from the window," ofcourse I have done that and I am sure the ones  I really want to visit us will surely not disappoint me."

Manik's pov

'Should I go in? But what will be her reaction when she will see me? What will Harsh do as I am sure enough that he knows that it's because of me that he lost his job?'

My such questions emerged in my mind one after another with no definite answer to any of them as I saw myself sitting in my car just outside the cafe.

Keeping all the questions and doubts at a hold , I stepped out of the car and paced my way towards the entrance .

"Ohh it's so nice to see you here Sir," someone said and I looked at the owner of the voice to realize that he was  Tushar,one of my employees. Many more of my employees were accompanied him.

All of them were quite surprised to see me there while I just passed them a faint smile and moved forward to have a seat alone on a table nearby where Tushar and others were settled.

My eyes roamed around the arrangements. I smirked as I felt pity on both of them for a while that they will be dependent on this small cafe for their survival but that wink didn't lasted long as I noticed a figure precisely a female one dressed in a loose floral dress serving snacks to people around.

It hardly took me a minute to realize that it's was her... it was Nandini. Though her back was facing me but I could realise that she has definitely gained some weight.

I waited for her to turn but she was to busy taking to people around and serving them.
'Why the hell is she serving people?' A sudden irritation aroused in me.

She finally turned around and that's when I saw her face carrying the same innocent and jovial look which she should to have when she had entered my life but what caught my attention was not her face this time but the baby bump which was easily noticeable though she was wearing a quite loose frock.

An unknown feeling surrounded me and I kept staring her just when my thoughts got disturbed when some gossips hit my eardrums.

Sorry for posting so late but I am juggling with my exams hence being irregular.l
