Manik's pov

"Are you sure Sir, it is the same banquet hall you have a function in?" my driver asked turning back as he parked the car nearby a corner on the road.

"Yes, its the same. You may leave now. I will call you,when you have to come," I replied getting out of the car and put on my goggles.
'I am coming Miss. Murthy, to make your engagement a memorable one!' I smirked invertly as I made way towards the hall.

As I entered it, I saw people around busy talking and laughing in groups wearing simple traditional attaire. I looked around as I caught some girls looking at me and blushing for nothing!

But they weren't even eligible to get my attention not even for a nanosecond as the heavy and shine salwar-suits they were wearing really looked awful.

'These middle-class people will never know how to dress up,' I mumured and made my way forward. This banquet hall was smaller than my gym arena! With so many people talking all around me, I felt so suffocated being there.
'Where is she?' my mind questioned.

I waited for another ten minutes, but there was no sign of her and hence I searched for someone in the crowd who could tell me about her.

"Excuse me, do you know where is Miss. Murthy?" I asked to a lady in her mid-50s who was passing by me.

"Who?" she asked confused.

"Oh... I mean Nandini Murthy. I am her boss," I clarified.

"Oh, she will be coming within few minutes. She is such an angel and is blessed to have Harsh as her better half."

"But they aren't married yet," words slipped from my mouth before I could register them.

"Hahaha, but they will be in few days. They are meant to be Mr," she chipped smiling.

"You look quite close to her," I said.

"Yes, I know both of them since they were in 11th standard," she replied," they used to be my students."

"Ohh," I said nodding as I rolled my eyes to get a glimpse of her.
'I am so dying to see your reaction once you see me!'

"You were saying that you are her boss right? But she told me few days back that she left the job?" she questioned suddenly talking me off guard.

"Hmmm, yes she had left the job. But since...umm... I respect my employees and treat them as family, hence I thought of coming here on her invitation," I managed to chip.

"Thats so great of," the lady said as she pointed towards right.

"Hey, Nandini is here," she said smiling,"Ohh my love, she is looking so pretty!"

I shifted my eyes to the direction she pointed and the very next moment my heart skipped a beat and my eyes forgot to blink as I saw her!!!

Draped in a royal-blue  sari, she looked nothing less than a super model. The sari fit her body perfectly and each of her curve looked perfextly shaped.

"She looks awesome."

"I didn't know Harsh will get such a beautiful girl."

"See her smile, aww she looks so cute."

I heared people whispering around me.

"Lets go and meet her," the lady tapped at the forearm making me get back to reality.
