It was 3 AM on a Saturday, and Tyler had just got his WII set up for him and Mark to start playing some video games when out of nowhere, there was a few thuds on the door.

Mark and Tyler looked at each other in utter shock as Tyler walked over to the door.

As he neared the space in front of the door he could've swore he heard someone sobbing. Tyler stepped up onto the balls of his feet, greeting the peephole of his apartment to see who the hell would be on his porch this late at night.

"Jesus Christ," Tyler exclaimed as he flung the door open and pulled the boy with colored hair inside.

Mark, who is still on the couch with the controller in his hand is staring at the two men with wide eyes and his mouth practically dropped to the floor.

"H-he-help," was all the boy could stammer. Only now could Tyler figure out what was happening. Tyler looked down at his arm, only to realise that there three red lines wrapped around the strange boy's wrist.

"Mark! Get your keys and start the car!" Tyler shouted as Mark moved in panic, grabbed his keys, and sprinted out the door.

"Listen to me, you're going to be okay," Tyler whispered as he stood up to get some gauze and two very large band-aids to help the boy.

"What's your name?" Tyler asked trying to start a conversation so the boy wouldn't lose consciousness.

"J-Josh," the boy squeaked.

"Well Josh," Tyler picked him up, causing a slight grunt slip from his lips, "you're going to be okay."

During the ride to the hospital, Tyler sang to Josh while wiping the tears from his cheeks."

We all know somebody who knows somebody who's doing great,
I know some people who know people who are flying straight,
But I'll kindly enter into rooms of depression,
While ceiling fans and idle hands will take my life again.

And just like that, they were rushing this mysterious broken boy with bright red hair into the sliding doors of the emergency room.
