-Taylor's POV-
'I can't do this anymore. I just don't think it's working.'
I replayed the moment over again in my mind.
I just don't get it. I thought everything was going fine.
Tears started spilling down my face.
"Hey Tay?" my best friend Avery came through the front door. "Have you seen my-oh my god, what's wrong?" She rushed over and sat down on the couch next to me.
I wiped my tears and said, "Um, nothing. It's not a big deal." She raised one eyebrow at me, clearly not believing this.
"Wait one sec," she stood up from the couch and walked into kitchen and came back, this time with her phone in hand. "Tay, spill. Seriously."
"Um, I don't know what you're talking about," I said, trying to deny it.
"Taylor, Harry texted me. He asked if you were alright, I just wanna know what happened. And I want the truth,"
"He broke up with me, Avery. He said that it just wasn't working out. But this morning, there was a picture of him with another girl. Why would he do this to me? I just don't get it," I said, dropping my head to my hands and cried.
I felt her sit down next to me.
"Tay, he's a jerk. He never deserved you. And you owe me $20."
"What?"
"Remember when you first started dating and I said he was probably gonna end up cheating on you with some other blonde chick he saw on the side of the street?"
"Ya."
"Well, I'm partially right, so pay up."
I laughed.
"I knew I made a good choice when I made you my best friend," I said.
