*Braeton's POV*

As I open my eyes, I hear my alarm clock blaring in the background.

7:58 a.m. It read.

"Shit, shit, shit. How?!" I curse under my breath as I turn off my alarm clock almost 30 minutes after I had set it.

I bolt it to my closet, pulling out a pair of leggings and a simple red t-shirt.

As I struggle to pull on my socks while walking to my bathroom, my phone starts to ring.

I run back to my room, pulling my phone off the charger, pressing answer and head back to the bathroom to finish getting ready.

"Hey mom!"

"Hi sweetie! Are you heading to the airport yet?"

"Umm..yeah. I left like 10 minutes ago."

I tap the speaker button and start brushing my teeth. I try my best to keep talking normal so my mom doesn't know I haven't left yet.

"Honey, you sound like you're eating. You know you shouldn't be eating in your car."

"Well, I'm driving so I shouldn't be talking either."

"That's true sweetie. See you over here soon. Love you and have a safe flight!"

"Thanks mom! Love you too."

I quickly tap end and put my toothbrush in my suitcase.

Pulling on my white my converse and zipping up my bag,

I quickly throw my hair in the messiest ponytail in existence, and rush out the door, 15 minutes later than I should have.

Having to be at the airport 2 hours early for international flights, I was late. I was leaving only an hour and a half for security and checking in, I was definitely pushing it.

I park my car at the closest parking spot, grab my suitcase out of my trunk, lock my car and rush into the airport.

Luckily, since everyone was smart and got here early there was no line for check in. After checking my bags I quickly mumble a thank you under my breath and head up the escalators to wait in line for security.

While waiting in line I send my best friends a quick text,

*hey guys! waiting in line for security right now. plane leaves in less than an hour! gonna miss you guys so much! :(*

*oh shuddup. Ireland is gunna be so much fun!* Beth responds.

*yeah! don't feel sad! we can oovoo everyday! maybe next time we will come with you?* responds Ivy.

*yes!! pleeeaassse come with me next time! it just won't be fun without you guys!*

*yes it will! ivy can you believe this girl! NEWSFLASH BRAE you're going to frickin Ireland!*

*beth shut up! ive gone there once before, believe me, it's only a little bigger than our town. so therefore there is nothing there!* I respond.

"Umm, ma'am. I'm going to have to ask you to turn off your phone and to hand me your passport, please."

I look up from my phone and see the security guard staring at me with a blank expression.

He deals with this everyday. You're nothing different. Stop thinking he is judging you. Just..

"Umm, ma'am. You're holding up the line. Please hand me your passport so everyone can get to their gate on time."

Now you've done it Brae.

"Yeah. Sorry. Here you go."

I hand him my passport, he checks the picture and hands it back to me.

"Have a safe flight."

"Thank you."

Bolting through the airport and crashing into a million people, I finally reach my gate with 10 minutes until departure.

Having those few minutes to spare, I quickly send my mom a text.

*boarding in a few minutes. can't wait to see grandma again. be in mullingar in less than 19 hours.*

I can't believe that I'm going to be in Mullingar! Though it's not under the best circumstances, it will still be great to see grandma one more time before she passes...

My phone starts to buzz which brings me back to the real world. I just received 2 texts from Beth and Ivy.

*have an amazing trip brae! sleep loads on the plane and eat everything you can! just dont get too fat on us okay? i dont want my dress to be all stretched out!(; *

*have a safe flight brae! just dont spill anything on my dress okay? it it's stretched out..well you can keep it! haha. loveeee youu!<3*

*wow. thanks ivy..ill be sure not to get too fat for the sake of your dress. and thanks beth! i will be very careful! thanks for letting me bring your dresses again girls! i love you so much. we are boarding now! text you in....well....19 hours!(: *

"Flight 219 - Manchester to Dublin, Ireland is now boarding" I hear getting mumbled over the intercom.

Well, this is it Brae.

"Ticket please." The lady asked.

"Here you go." I respond back.

"Have a good flight ma'am. Enjoy Ireland. I also heard that the famous Niall Horan from One Direction is going to be visiting his family as well, in Mullingar, of course. Wouldn't it be amazing to see him?"

"Um..sure." I mumble under my breath.

As she is still rambling about this Niall Horan, I think,

Wouldn't it be funny if I actually met him? Beth and Ivy would go insane.

I board the plane, find my seat and get comfortable, it's going to be a long flight.

"Hello everyone and welcome to Flight 219 Manchester to Dublin. My name is Mark, I'm your pilot and Kevin over here is going to be co-pilot. Thanks so much for flying with us."

As the plane takes off I realize that it would actually be possible to meet Niall, though it would never happen. I laugh at myself as I realize that I'm still thinking about it.

I plug my headphones into Ivy's iPod that she lent me for the trip and of course One Direction had to come on.

As I start drifting off to sleep, I recognize the voice blaring through my headphones, as the one and only, Harry Styles.
