The next day was loud. Mr. Burley came back today. Yay! The class was excited to see one of their favorite teachers again.

"Sorry I wasn't here. I was sick. But now, I'm back and better than ever." Mr. Burley announced.

"So let's figure out some real work today, huh?" Burley started.

As Mr. Burley wrote some scientific research in the board, some people chatted.

"Man, I'm glad Burley's back. Connor's the worst." Michael whispered to Jake.

"I know! You could throw a dumpster at him and he'd still teach us like we're in the army." Jake replied.

Troy and the gang heard the conversation and laughed. It was true. But, even though it seemed like a good day, Troy still felt off. The only good thing was that Protocol hadn't attacked him nor Orion much. But still, what was it?

As Burley handed out worksheets, a man walked quickly in the room.

"Excuse me-"

He ignored him. He went up and grabbed Troy's arm and yanked him out of the room. The class was confused. What just happened? Troy and his dad were the only ones in the hall. Troy pulled his arm away from his dad.

"What?" He asked.

"We're leaving." Clark announced.

"Where are we going?" Troy asked him.

"No, I mean we're leaving Harwood." His dad added.

Troy was surprised.

"What?! Right now?!" Troy yelled.

"Yep! Let's go!" Clark responded while grabbing his arm.

Troy was still confused.

"Why?" He asked.

Clark sighed in frustration.

"Because, I told you we are. Now, let's move it." Clark ordered.

Troy still didn't move. He needed to know.

"That doesn't answer my-"

"Look kid! You need to get something straight! You may be on your way to graduating and that's okay, but your not eighteen. So, if we're going somewhere, then we're going somewhere. Got it?" Clark demanded.

Troy lowered his eyes. He was waiting for Clark to finally show. As he grabbed for his son's wrist, Troy jerked it away.

"No." Troy refused.

Clark crossed his arms. This wasn't good.

"What?" Clark asked.

"No, I'm not going with you. Last time you said we're leaving, you tried to bury me underground." Troy remarked.

"Look, to be fair you were a little yappy that day." Clark replied.

"I'm not going to get killed by my own dad. You don't even care about me at all!" Troy screamed at his face.

The class heard it outside. Mr. Burley came out and so did a few teachers.

"How am I to raise a son that I never wanted!" Clark shouted.

"Because mom was pregnant with me. But, every time something about me is even mentioned, you change the subject. You didn't come back here for me, you came for yourself!" Troy yelled.

"I told your mother to raise you til your 18. Then, you could leave!" Clark replied.

"Exactly! I personally heard you say that Derek could even raise a family in that house. But, when mom mentioned me, you said that I could get a life!" Troy yelled.

"Troy! That's enough." Darwin called out.

Troy turned around and saw the teacher. He nodded.

"Sir, I'm gonna have to ask you to leave." The math teacher, Ms.Calvin, directed to the door.

Clark slowly turned around. He walked outside the building. Troy was furious and slammed his way back into the classroom. The teachers headed back. What he didn't know was that Protocol used his powers to blend in with the lockers. He smirked.

"Well well well. This is turning out better than I thought." He spoke as he left the school.
