The gang decided to go to Ernie's. It was their favorite place to hang.

"This is crazy. How does he randomly come in and barely brings an army?" Jake asked.

"I don't know. But that doesn't matter. If Protocol is a psychotic killer, we need to get some leads on him." Noah informed.

"Well, what leads do we have? It's not like he throws them out naturally." Emma replied.

The group thought.

"Well, you've been working on a machine with Tensou. We could use that to beam ourselves in their ship without being seen." Gia suggested.

"Yeah, but we're not finished. Something could go wrong." Noah responded.

"I've got an idea." Orion said.

"Great! What is it?" Emma asked.

"Security systems. We can all install one and if he's around, the senser will go off. Just put it on silent." He suggested.

Jake sighed.

"Yeah, but we can't just wait around. We need to take some action!" Jake replied.

Troy agreed with Jake. They needed to take action. But how?

Protocol could not only sense the presence of a person, but who the person was. Crazy right? So, how would this work?

While the Rangers discussed what they should do, a man in a black T shirt walked in. His jacket resembled Troy's. He looked as if he were an MMA champion. He walked in mysteriously to the counter.

"Hello sir, what can I get you?" Ernie greeted with a smile.

"One cup of your strawberry kiwi smoothie." The customer ordered.

"Okay, coming right up." Ernie assured him as he walked away.

As the rangers were finishing up, the man walked up eyed one of them. Troy felt someone staring at him. He looked up and saw the man. When he approached the table, the gang stared at him. Troy looked confused at him til he realized who it was.

"Hey kiddo." The man greeted.

Troy hesitated before answering.

"Dad?" Troy asked.

"Dad?!" The gang reacted shocked.

They've never seen Troy's dad before. Derek was the only one living with him, so it was odd how his dad had suddenly popped up. The man sat down next to his son. Though, Troy scooted away from him. The group was confused. Why didn't Troy want to sit next to his dad?

"So, this is your dad?" Emma asked Troy.

"Yes he is." Troy remarked.

Clark Burrows. He was married at 18 years old and had Derek at 20. He was elated to have him. Though something was wrong. At 23, his wife Mariah told him she was pregnant again. He flipped out. He didn't want another kid. So, he left when Troy was three. Or so he says.

"You guys look nothing alike." Jake commented.

"That's actually a good thing." Clark replied.

Troy rolled his eyes.

"Well, not everybody looks alike." Emma added.

Troy was silent. He didn't want to talk to the person who left him. Why was he even here? He did enough as it is. Still, he needed to be the bigger person. Unfortunately, it was hard to do so.

"So, you left. Why are you back?" Troy asked him.

Clark sighed.

"I tried to find you. When your mother went missing, I wondered what happened to you and your brother. When I heard Derek went to college on a scholarship, I was so proud." He started.

"And here it comes." Troy glanced at his friends while rolling his eyes again.

"Obviously I had to figure out where you were. Then, I finally heard you went to Harwood with your brother. But, you only went to high school. I've heard so much Derek had achieved, but you I only heard as a student. Shows a lot doesn't it?" Clark asked.

"And there it is." Troy added as he drank some of his smoothie.

"Yeah, but your kid's pretty cool too." Jake backed him up.

Troy smiled.

"I can see that. He managed to make friends without buying them for once." Clark replied.

Troy immediately frowned.

"What do you mean?" Gia asked.

Clark sighed.

"It's easy for Troy to make friends. But, it's much better when it's already paid for." Clark smirked a little as he nudged his son.

Troy only stared. He felt disturbed to have his dad in his presence. Even the others had a bad feeling wash over them. Not only could they detect the slight attitude and deepness in his voice, but the fact that he gave off that him and Troy don't get along.

"Can you go?" Troy asked.

"My life was better when you weren't around. Not like I know how life was with you." Troy remarked.

"Order up!" Ernie called.

Clark went to get his smoothie. He came back for a few more words,

"I wouldn't get to comfortable around here."

He walked out. Troy shook his head. Of all time, he had to come NOW. The gang stared at Troy. He didn't know what to think anymore.
